DC Tea Party April 15th...Who Is Going?
Vanity ^ | March 28, 2010 | Wpin

Posted on 03/28/2010 11:57:39 AM PDT by Wpin

I am wondering who is going to the April 15th Tea Party in Washington DC. I have not seen much info on it yet, but did hear a hint on Fox News last night.

I have a fairly good number of people willing to go, but do not want to go if there isn't going to be thousands there. Not with the first timers coming along.

Interesting thing...most of the new protesters are college kids! And, I know that at least half of them were/are democrats who are outraged at the health care bill passed!

If anyone has info on this protest and if they think it will be fairly large please let me know.

[Mrs] T and I will be there. And being an evening event a lot of DC FReepers will also make it. It won’t get dark till after 8PM and temps will be pleasant.

The Tea Party Express III is ending their route in DC that day and they always get good coverage from conservatives. Their presence alone will bring patriots to DC.

The Carroll County (MD) Tea Party is handing out flyers and they always have a good showing.

Tea Party events with only a week’s notice brings out 10s of thousands, no matter what the media says.

I say bring the newbees. Without individuals there we will never have a big crowd.

What’s the old saying, “You gather Eagles one at a time”.

“At this point it’s clear marches on D.C. have little to no effect on the Rats in power, it’ll be little else than another feel good event.”

We all know by now that the democrats are fascists who do not care about what the people think. They feel that if there actions are out of the news, it will leave the minds of the people before the next election.

Every time we have a large Tea Party, I have no doubts we win over several thousand new converts. It also will help to keep people from feeling marginalized from the actions and words of the democrats and their media.

Last, we bring support and courage to the Republicans in congress who are doing a very fine job of fighting the democrats.

So, it is more than just a “feel good” event. It is activism which is very necessary right now.

I'm going - this will be my 3rd visit. I and my 3 friends will be attending, since I don't want "them" to think we are giving up this fight. Keep on keeping on, as the saying goes, and show as much enthusiasm as the first time.

I want to be a continual burr in the saddle to them.

I will probably go anyway, but am concerned about bringing first time young people along if it will not be well attended.

First time young pepole won't realise if it's well attended or not. My granddaughters 5, 11 & 14 attended the December 12 Tea Party, which wasn't that well attended, they have no concept of what is well attended, they are looking forward to the April 15 Tea Party.

You are right about the Rats not caring about our marches but I truly believe that it keeps the RINOs in line. And it helps to keep those few like minded democrats on our side.

Without the continued marches the RINOs will go along with Sessions on Cap ‘n Tax and McCain on amnesty.

Keeping the Republicans together is our only hope right now.

I think we are winning over people, that is why the Rats are trying so hard to marginalize us. Did you see the latest Rasmussen poll that shows 52% of the American public think the Tea Partiers are more informed than Congress?

Well, they are right on that account, so don't give up this fight.

I, my wife, and my pastor are joining about 30 -60 others to go up to DC on April 15. Look forward to seeing you there. This is the time when the true patriots have to step forward (if they can afford to) and make a showing in DC. Emails and faxes should not end either; if anything it should intensify.

God Bless you all and onward to the ultimate victory.

I’ll be coming in from NC with 3 or 4. I wouldn’t miss a chance to attend in DC for anything. Now that I’m out of work (having been laid off), I can attend when I want to.

I have work in the evening, so I won’t be gathering round the Monument. Hopefully, I can be down in DC or at one in Frederick, MD during the day, however.

I wish I could go but I can’t find a flight under 800 bucks. Driving is pretty much out of the question cause I cant’ take the entire week. I’m looking into hooking up with the Houston Tea Party to attend a rally here instead.

we still seems massively disorganized . Better to have one giant rally than a lot of smaller ones on different days.
It’s amazing how organized the radical left is .We need to use their methods against them.

There doesn;t seem to be much information on a rally on the 15th.

I know the Tea PArty Express will roll into DC, but no time os on their website, and the location is just Capitol Mall, which isn’t a location in reality. It’s either the Capitol or the Mall.

I had planned to go on the 15th, but where’s the info?

This “event” is only three weeks away.

Sarah Palin said she would be in Boston on the 14th to meet the Tea Party Express—I was hoping she would ride with the bus into DC.

But I can’t find any info in what the caravan is going tod o when it rolls into DC.

Anybody know?
