So What!

Posted on 03/28/2010 3:00:13 PM PDT by RED SOUTH

Palin is helping McCain. Doesn't make her a rino anymore than Reagan was a rino when he helped rino's in 78. Yes , he did.

Anyway , would you rather have Mitt , Huck or Pawlenty? Your choices are probally down to the four or you can sit out again and help that pig Obama get another term.

Forget about crossing your fingers for some fantasy of another canidate emerging from somewhere else to save the day. If you do not have a pac raising money now and are active by campaigning and collecting you I.O.U's , then you will be too far behind to mount a serious run later. Only four republicans are this far in the process.

Another point to think about , Palin probally did this as part of a larger strategy. To middle America , people who don't identify strictly to party or ideology but usually decide the election , seeing Palin and McCain together was a nice contrast to Obama and Pelosi and a lot of them voted for Obama have huge regrets and after seeing Palin and Mccain together , wished they had voted the other way. I am talking about Reagan democrats who voted for Perot and have been the swing vote that decides elections.

Personally, I love John Boehner. Maybe as VP to Sarah.

duh, if Obozo continues to be Obozo, the GOP can run Barney the purple dinosaur...and the GOP knows it. That is why you will get a RINO.

>”allowing a left-wing Democrat to win, “

And, if you elect a RINO, you are just allowing a Center leaning Democrat into office. Independents, Socialists, Green Part, Communists, (what else do we have here ... ) Ron Paul supporters, RINOs, blah blah blah, here is the deal.

If you don’t vote 100% conservative, YOU ARE A LIBERAL!

Remember this.

It wasn’t the Liberals that elected nObama. They vote that way ALL the time. (Non players)

It wasn’t the Conservatives that elected nObama. They vote that way ALL the time. (Non players)

It was the so-called INDEPENDENTS that put that SOB in office.

The country isn't looking/relying/voting for run of the mill any longer and aren't willing to take what is given. We the People are standing up and it started w/the town hall meetings, tea parties, etc. Status quo is OUT and both side of the aisle KNOW that!

Blowing up fruit, building huts with snakes in them...

Well technically the snake was in the building materials, not the hut.

But I get the point. And the snakebite.

Okay, whatever you think, L guess I can accept the next RINO as a true blue conservative who backs McCain as well as the next guy.

I know I won’t vote for Obama.

No, we aren’t dead in the water, but the middle as you cann them, are fast disappearing, a dying breed in this highly toxic environment we find ourselves in. The more the left pushes left, middle of the road folks, with the exception of the likes of Mrs and Jr. McCain, the middle pushes right, just as hard. Lessons hard learned.

I just enjoyed (as Sarah must have) listening to the thousands chanting, "Sarah, Sarah, Sarah" and the shoe being on the OTHER foot, and watching the look on Cindy's face as Sarah was popular at the podium, dressed in leathers ------truly a great last laugh.

That said....HAYWORTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here’s the way it will go: The Tea Party will grow stronger. In 2012 there will be a Tea Party convention in aticipation of the Republican convention. The Tea Party will propose a candidate, and it almost assuredly will not be Romney, Pawlenty or Huckabee. Quite likely it will not be Palin. Instead it will someone chosen from the increasing number of youngbloods that offer great promise for a Conservative future. The Republican conventioneers will be faced with a major dilemma. Pick an old tired elephant, or be prpared for the emergence of a powerful third party. These are interesting times. Then we shall see if the American electorate is willing to continue to submit to a tyrannical Left.

HG: Remember who turned your world upside down

Okay, I've reviewed everything controversial for the last four months
and nobody has "turned my world upside down". Do you refer to something farther back?

What the hell are you talking about? Now you got me curious.

Be aware that lots of folks THINK they make an impression, but in reality they do not.

I'm eager to hear about what you are referring to.

I submit that by 2012 the conservatives will be tired of Palin. Her usefullness will be near its end. Be prepared for someone new. Perhaps a Christie with charisma. A Brown with brio. A Ryan like a caged lion. You get my drift.

Yep, he sure did. And I agree with your overall post.

I saw a couple of threads earlier where the FR drama queens were all shrieking and pulling their hair out over this. Calling Palin a "socialist" and saying she has the blood of people murdered by illegal immigrants on her hands and other such silly hyperbole.

It's the same old crowd of so-called "purists" you see wringing their hands on similar threads, though. Most of them are devoted Mittbots and Paulbots and are not really on the side of conservatism.

Matter of fact, he selected one as his running mate in ‘80. Guess that makes Ronaldus Magnus a RINO. Oh, well.

McCain supports amnesty, which will destroy this country with the stroke of a pen. He must be defeated.

Why are you so swayed about who others endorse? It’s a non issue, IMO. I’ve never been swayed by an endorsement and that goes for buying merchandise, also. I see it for what it is.

Does anyone have a list of Mittbots and Paulbots?

A Brown with brio.

Heh. Fat chance with this crowd. He's campaigning for McCain, and has basically suggested he plans to "reach across the aisle." Non-starter.
