Don’t worry—there will be retraining and Government jobs waiting for all those unemployed miners. Just keep saying: hope and change.

There is seething anger in WV against the pro environ suburban transplants. This decision is going to incite violence.

Yep. Wondering how many voted for Zero because he was a ‘Democrap’ because they are supposed to be for the ‘working man’.

It seems the number of new STOOPID policies and regulations issuing forth DAILY from the RAT Federal Government are unlimited in number. Its starting to look like everyday there is some Government action which may incite violence SOMEWHERE.

They have a right to be angry. WV voted for McCain in 2008. This is probably their payback from the Usurper Regime.

Frankly I’m surprised one of the greenies hasn’t been shot. Even Kathy Mattea should be careful.

Time to unelect Mollahan, tell Byrd to take a hike, and tell Rockefeller to lay off the FBI/CIA.

Looks like the marxism of the Democrats has come home to roost.

They voted for McCain because Hussein said outright that he was going to destroy the coal industry in the name of Gaia. You wanna see a Dimocrat do the unthinkable and pander to his constituents instead of The One? Jay Rockefeller is fit to be tied. WV currently doesn't have much else for them but their coal fields. The only way they'll get a permit is if they let Obama's thugs come in and unionize the joint, which is probably what Obama had intended all along: crush all the independent companies, and put the rest of the votes in his pocket. Effing sub-human scumbag.

“tell Byrd to take a hike”

During the health care debate there was not a peep out of Bird regarding reconciliation. I bet he does not have all his faculties and he is being hidden from prying eyes.

There are many a redneck who voted for Democrat as the way their granpappy did because FDR was AWESOME! Which, for farmers, he was. Those who didn’t have more than a third grade education to understand economics, they didn’t understand how his policies hurt on a grand scale, all they know is they were hungry and tired.

However I think this go ‘round they have figured out that Republican doesn’t always mean “Rich guy on Wall St” and that Democrat DOES mean Communism.

Isn’t that the same thing those folks were saying at Auschwitz as well as all the other re-education/training facilities?

Actually, if you were from Appalachia you might not be saying that.

The coal can be mined without blowing off the top of the mountains. If it can’t then the coal isn’t worth mining.

Here:
“LEAF is a Christian fellowship of Tennesseans whose faith leads them to take action for Tennessee’s environment. Concern for God’s Creation is not a matter of being liberal or conservative, a Republican or a Democrat. We believe people of faith can look beyond such distinctions and do the Lord’s work together.”

I am usually not in favor of govt intervention, but in this case I am.

Here’s the results of a poorly monitored slurry pond in Kingston, TN. That’s right down from our house, and the community there is devistated.

“Months after ash spill, Tennessee town still choking”
