Perhaps tuning in to NBC's "The Chris Matthews Show" isn't high on your list of priorities, outside of wanting the chance to catch Dan Rather suggest something bizarre like President Barack Obama couldn't sell watermelons. However, if you had watched the March 28 broadcast of the program, you would have found the show's roster of panelists think the Tea Party movement is a black mark on the Republican Party, as far as it pertains to unseating the Democratic majority in Congress.

Matthews' show featured NBC Capitol Hill correspondent Kelly O'Donnell, Newsweek's senior Washington correspondent Howard Fineman, CNN senior political analyst Gloria Borger and Atlantic senior editor Andrew Sullivan. In the aftermath of the passage of ObamaCare into law, some have suggested this was a defeat for the Tea Party movement. Matthews asked if the mere existence of this movement was a plus or minus for the Republican Party.

I love it when the commie libs start showing so much concern for the future of the GOP. It means that Americans must be doing something right.

"Surprise: Three Out of Four 'Chris Matthews Show' Panelists Say Tea Party a Negative for GOP "

Yeah..but it is a much BIGGER negative for the democrats, and they know it.

And we all know in what high regard Chris Matthews' opinion is held...why, it's right up there with Rosie O'Donnell.

The TEA party movement has rattled them to the core (for obama, that would be 'to the corpse').

They're pulling out all the stops, from planted "threats" to digging into the depths of their bleeding hearts to warn us how bad the TEA party movement is for the GOP....bless their little peapickin' hearts.

What song is it that contains the line, "you can't even run your own life, I'll be damned if you'll run mine..."? Well, there you go, Chrissy ol' boy...go massage your tingling leg and stay clear of things you know nothing about.

One mentally ill Democrat talking to other mentally ill Democrats? Why would I want to watch that?

You’re thinking “Sunshine” (Jonathan Edwards, 1972).

It’s been my theory for some time now that someone must be spiking the MSNBC water cooler with crazy juice. No one on that network makes a whit of sense, and previously normal people quickly become frothing maniacs shortly after being hired by the network.

How is it a defeat when the Dems had to ram healthcare through with extrordinary measures? It’s like saying someone lost a poker hand to someone holding five aces, two of the same suit.

"...the show's roster of panelists think the Tea Party movement is a black mark on the Republican Party..."

I hope so. For the most part, there is little difference between many republicans (RINOs) and democrats.

My friends, I think I can reveal the Dems secret plan to win in 2010. They have been forwarding among themselves a poll (http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/washington/2009/12/tea-party-more-popular-than-republicans-or-democrats.html) showing the Tea Party outpolling Republicans and Democrats. (TP:41%, Dem:35%, Rep:28% favorable) They think that this spells doom for the Pubbies, as in this Chrissie show.

They think the Tea parties will field a third party candidate, like against Dede Scozifozi, or they plan to field a stalking horse 'Tea Party' third party candidate, like against Harry Reid in Nevada. They think they can use this to split the vote and win, even though it failed in Mass, VA and NJ.

We need to let them keep thinking this or they may develop other plans to steal the elections.

“but I’m perplexed they’re downplaying the threat of this grassroots movement.”

They’re downplaying it because it terrifies them, like Sara Palin terrifies them. They’re frightened children whistling past the graveyard.

I care about what they think because????

That is the funny part (from the sane persons point of view) of the communists mental illness.

The communists / liberal / progressive / socialist / Marxist / what the hell ever are firmly convinced that everyone does think they are important and that everyone does want to know what they think.

Now reality clearly indicates that belief is so far removed from the truth that is laughable and the ratings of the various networks absolutely point directly to the winning formula.

BUT THEY ARE LIBERAL PROGRESSIVE COMMUNISTS and they are in the right damn it! Just ask them. They will be more than happy to prattle on about how right they are and how wrong all the rest of the world is and all those horrid non-believers are simply not educated enough OR they have not explained their communism either clearly enough or enough times to convince everyone else they are right about their “progressive liberalism.”

Such is the depth of their delusion.

Unfortunately, the darker forces acting against the united States have infected the education system to such a degree as to prevent a student at college entrance age from being able to coherently READ. Therefore we now have a large portion of the population that are dumb as river rocks and actually believed the bull$hit from the little bammy crew.

And what with human nature being what it is the narcissist Talking Head “journalist” or creepy politician will totally ignore the fact that their constituents actually believe the gubbermnt is going to buy their gas or pay the mortgage so long as there are crowds of said clueless twits to cheer and applaud adoringly when promised a chicken in every pot.

The education coming to the clueless crowd will be hard, cruel, not swift and very painful. Also, there is a clear possibility they will lash out against the very ones that liberate them from their mentally delusional overlords. They will cling to the fantasy that “things were good” when they were non-thinking sheep and the ones that ripped open the gate of the slaughterhouse pens are the evildoers that must be eliminated.

Presto. The Øbama New World Order Corps.

The fact that Chris Matthews’ and his guests think the Tea Party is bad, is proof positive that the Tea Party is the greatest thing that ever happened to the Republican Party.

BUMP!

We are seeing an all out assault on the Tea Party people, if it is successful and the TP people are marginalized, we are in big trouble here in the USA.
