Posted on 03/28/2010 7:50:42 PM PDT by RED SOUTH
Baker was arrogant as he argued with Huckabee and praised Obama and bashed Israel. I can't believe he served under Reagan but he is a Bush man and a new world order goon.
Was he wearing his KKK robes for the interview?
expected. he’s the “F__K the Jews” Baker.
He turns 80 this year, so it looks like dimentia is setting in.
James Baker has been a Jew-hater since forever. No surprise here at all.
Has he joined the Pat Buchanan and Ron Paul contingent?
What a wanker.
Ummm you’re kidding right? Baker makes Buchanan look like Moses coming down from them mountain...
Did he really say that????
Baker is part of the reason why the GOP lost so much ground the past 2 decades.
He is a loser. So is his opinion.
How dare you insult the lowly Klan like that. Their worst chapter might accept a Robert Byrd but would never take this Baker type. They may be low but their not on the level of Baker trash.
Yes he did....back in the Bush Sr. presidency, He said it and after that Bush Sr. favorable numbers started to fall, a pastor told us this story and said that those that curse Israel and the Jews usually get it one way or the other.
Baker:” I’m from Yale and I’m here to help”.
Baker cost Bush I a fair amount of Jewish voters (skewed as they are to begin with) which matters when it comes to fundraising. No friend of Israel, is he.
Hardly unbelievable. James Baker was always known for being as subtle as a good swift kick in the ass.
Velvet Hammer *ping*
The Bushes, Baker, Shultz — they are in bed with the Saudis (and perhaps other globalist interests).
This BTW, is in stark contradiction to extreme Rothschild conspiracy theory.
The nation is Israel. Its capital is Jerusalem. That is irrevocable. Nothing will change it. Those who attempt will suffer.
Baker was upset when Israel took out Iraq’s nuclear facility.
I’m not disputing any of that, but what James Baker says or does these days is irrelevant.
You beat me to it.
Baker is that way. Used to see him all the time in downtown Houston as his offices were in the same building I worked in. He is a very tall man. You should see the size of his body guard. He wouldn’t let anyone on the elevator unless you had your id. He also runs a very tight ship at his law firm. No one is allowed to talk socially with each other.
james baker should be having cocktails with peggy noonan and shutting the h up.
Well, there's that.... ;-`
Are you talking about Jim “whatever you do, don’t surge troops in Iraq because it’s a quagmire and that will never be successful” Baker?
Baker has been taking money from the Saudis for a long time.......
Huckabee KNEW Baker’s standing on Israel. Why would he give him airtime to expose his evil propaganda? I’m thinking of those who don’t know the truth and may be easily swayed. Not good for Huckabee, IMO.
James Baker was originally a democrat, no surpriise
Joseph had a dream about pharaoh’s Baker.
I heard that too and was not shocked after hearing other things he has said. He has gone off the rails.
Well .. when Baker worked for George H.W. Bush, didn’t he basically do the same thing to Israel that Obama did ..??
PS The Democrats didn't force Bush to break his "Read my lips, no new taxes" pledge.
“...He also runs a very tight ship at his law firm. No one is allowed to talk socially...”
Did he allow himself to talk to his mistress Margaret Tutwiller?
Very good post.
I know Mike Huckabee, and I know that he doesn't book the guests for his TV show, the production staff does. Huckabee is a huge supporter of Israel. He spent over a week there just last month, visiting with top officials and touring the country, and talked about it every day on his radio show, where he defended the new settlements and slammed Obama for his treatment of Israel. So I hardly think he had Baker on because he agreed with him. He just dealt with what was put in front of him.
not unbelievable...Baker has a long history of friendship with the Saudis (he used to be in the oil industry) and a long history of taking their side against those pesky Israelis who only want to live in peace.
He should get the policy changed - he needs to vet the guest list. Moreso, since his name is attached to the show. I know Huckabee is a supporter of Israel, that’s why reading Baker was on his show was a ‘WTH’? Let Baker dish his propaganda elsewhere where it’s wanted.
You’d be surprised how hard it is even for the hosts of these shows to get the producers and networks to give them complete control over all aspects of the production, especially guest booking. That’s hard enough even without having to vet it with the hosts. He was lucky to get as much control over the show as he did, and I know he had to fight for that.
very well said.
What do you think?
Baker was antiIsrael when he was secretary of state.
James Baker helped give away our Panama Canal.
I hate the guy.
I have the wrong idiot Baker.
I should have done my research before posting.
I was thinking of the other Baker under Carter.
Not so, Baker is very relevant.
Baker belongs to that foreign policy school or doctrine known as Realists or Pragmatists and Obama campaigned on Realist policies. McCain campaigned on NeoCon policies.
Realist Colin Powell voted for Obama
Realist Henry Kissinger, even tho he was a paid consultant to the MCain campaign, endorsed Obama's pledge to negotiate with Iran
Realist George Schultz criticized candidate McCain's position on Russia.
Obama's "four wise old men" are Kissinger, Scowcroft, Baker, and Brzezinski.
Obama's back up plan for Israel-Palestine was written by Scowcroft, Baker, Brzezinski, and Carter.
well the Realist are the same clowns that almost lost the cold war with detente....
The NeoCons were wrong then and the NeoCons were wrong about Iraq.
Thank God James Baker chaired the Iraq Study Group.
Over the years, I’ve just had it with people making excuses for the first President Bush. He did what he did in the face of outrage from his base. His base left him due to neglect.
All the anti-semites seem emboldened these days.
