[history]
"Most of these people [in the Administration] have never had a real job in their lives. They don't understand a thing about business, and that includes the President," says a senior lobbyist for one of the companies that announced the charge. "My CEO sat with the President over lunch with two other CEOs, and each of them tried to explain to the President what this bill would do to our companies and the economy in general. First the President didn't understand what they were talking about. Then he basically told my boss he was lying. Frankly my boss was embarrassed for him; he clearly had not been briefed and didn't know what was in the bill."

How do you explain capitalism to a Marxist?
To: teddyballgame
Any CEO that didn’t know these people were clueless before they were elected should be fired.

Did Bam etal just think that these companies were going to eat this new cost? They either did not understand or just assumed that these companies would go along with the charade. Now it is known that the cost will be passed on, in terms of lost jobs or increased prices.
Bam is smart and Bush is dumb? You have to be kidding me.

Obama is following his plan.
He promised to remake the US economy so it wouldn’t be consumer-based.
His alternative is to make it subsistence-based.

Obama has always been on the AA, government, Soros, SEIU/union or thinktank Liberal teat since his birth to a Bolshevik mother and Marxist Muslim father in Kenya.
This is not surprising, he is the perfect moron when it comes to hands-on experience or real world examples.
Reading Axelrod and Plouff’s lies for years on a teleprompter cannot hide the fact he hates this nation.
Dump the Kenyan, starting in November.

Businesses giving to politicians that they find ideologically aligned I understand. Businesses giving to both parties I also understand.... and I don't like it.
Microsoft used to brag about not having any lobbyists. Then during the Clinton administration they were brought up on anti-trust charges. They have lobbyists and give generously to BOTH parties now. They learned their lesson.
Have we, the people, learned the same lesson?

Dems understand that companies have the money - and they want their cut. It’s the Chicago Way - it’s the CEO’s who don’t “get it”... but they will. If they go along, they’ll win for a while. If they stand honest they’ll be mowed under...

I agree that it was pretty obvious that any CEO who supported Obama should have done their own homework and done a background check on the candidate. There was a lot of information available that gave a lot of us clues as to who and what he was. I really blame the press, especially the press that traveled with him for disinformation.
To: teddyballgame
But he WANTS the economy destroyed.
To: teddyballgame
Either the President is breathtakingly ignorant about how the real world works and was incredibly naive about how his policies would be received both here and abroad, or he is simply feigning ignorance and actually just doesn’t care. I’m not sure which is worse.

Zero knows full well what Capitalism is, and he knows what he wants to do to it. Destroy it in favor of its new matrix. Socialism, then Communism.

Obama may be an economic moron but he was hardly alone in imposing this disaster on us. What about the nearly 300 Dems in the House and Senate who went along with it? I guess those who aren’t certifiable morons (and I won’t mention who they are) were radical ideologues who didn’t care what happened as long as Congress didn’t get the direct blame. Now those greedy companies will be blamed for passing on the cost.

"These are Republican CEOs who are trying to embarrass the President and Democrats in general," says a White House legislative affairs staffer. Wow! That's super nova-stupid. Of course that should have been obvious to all when 0-stupid told Joe the Plumber he needed to share his wealth when he was making $40k per year and saving to buy his boss' company thus putting himself in debt and taking a fairly good risk in order to be self-sufficient and employ a few people in the process.
Look out, folks! With this philosophy in power if you make anything over minimum wage you are going to be seen as greedy. Assuming you will be able to find a minimum wage job.
