The following is a forwarded report from Arizona. Note that there are eight different trucks pictured with approximately 25 to 35 people in each. These images were taken in broad daylight. There were several more camera activations at night showing vehicles rolling by.
***********Forwarded report Below************
All images taken 45 miles due south of downtown phoenix, 80 miles north of the border , 3 miles south of Interstate 8.
ZERO active Border Patrol presence in this area (Ajo BP station responsibility)..... no visible LE response to to our 911 calls or calls to the Ajo BP station. How can this many Vehicle loads of IAs make it 80 miles north of the AZ/Mexico Border without being detected? This area is a case of "if we don't see them they don't exist".
The "numbers are down.... by HALF" says Janet Napolitano. Yeah.... Right !
One reporter literally hired a Mariachi band, and then made his crossing with them, and AN ELEPHANT.
Yes, he made it to the north NO PROBLEMO.
No such thing as a War On Terror, while this state of affairs persists. We can enforce the borders of Iraq, sure, but not our own.
Future Democratic voters on their way to register.
They come through Organ Pipe NF, and through Ajo, by the thousands. As do hundreds of TONS of illegal drugs. But a blind eye is turned, even after Kris Eggle was murdered there by drug runners. Pitiful, isn’t it.
What did LE and BP say when you called?
“What did LE and BP say when you called?”
Are these photes from a website or blog?
Is this Raul’s congressional district? Why don’t tea partiers protest at his Tucson office and get some media attention? With the recent murder, now is the time.
It is a disgrace.
With ACORN driving.
Have no fear...Juan McCain is here.
Same solution I’ve always said:
Clear the brush. Dig a big ditch. Razor wire fence. Land mines. Angry groin biting dogs. Guard towers with machine guns. Severed heads of the dead on pikes as a warning to the rest.
The illegal crossings will cease.
We were discussing an Arizona vacation next year, but those images make me rethink that-and I doubt am the only vacationer who is getting leery of states that are “Ground Zero” for the invasion. I can imagine all too clearly driving on a remote back country road and driving smack into a scene like that. This has got to be impacting tourism in NM, TX, AZ, and CA at the very least.
These people aren’t looking for work — not in this economy.
They’re looking for amnesty.
How the hell did they get my Pick-up truck??? (second photo). I say let loose with some A-10’s.
The Border Patrol is 1) corrupt; 2) inept. Take your choice, you would be right in either case.
Would the wife of the rancher killed along the border have a case of Wrongful Death. Since the US Gov has not done what is required of it. The tracks show that the shooter/killer escaped back into Mexico?
As I said in a post earlier today, as long as you stay north if the I-8/I-10 corridor, you’re as safe in Arizona as you are in New York or Detroit. Perhaps even safer, come to think of it.
And there are lots of things to see and do north of Phoenix.
If you visit, you will undoubtedly encounter numerous Border Patrol checkpoints. They are there to impede traffic. Only the very stupid are ever caught at their checkpoints, and it usually results from some sniffer-dog picking up the scent of marijuana. As for John McCain, his only trips to the border usually occur around Yuma where he can hit the local Officer’s Club and throw down a few. I have never once heard that he visited the Sasabe checkpoint, and if he has visited Organ Pipe area it sure is kept under wraps. The route past Organ Pipe, through Ajo to Highway 8 is called the Illegal Immigrants Superhighway.
We're doing Arkansas this year-AZ is tentatively ZAug/Sep 2010.
My main worry (and it probably *won’t* prevent us from actually going) is , we are both rock hounds. We want to go to the places that allow people to dig for rocks and minerals (ONLY those that allow such diggings, of course.)-so by definition we will be off the beaten trail and into the more remote, more sparsely traveled areas. But we both have our CCW, and if the laws in AZ allow for reciprocity, well...that will relieve the bulk of our concern.
Yup! We have reciprocity - let me see if I can find you a link to see if we have it with your state.
You can dig for rocks at the mine tailings piles in Bisbee, I think; and there are a couple of good shops there and in Whetstone (just north of Sierra Vista).
According to Arizona Highways, you’ll find a whole slew of shops in Quartzite out by Yuma. They’re a few miles north of I-8 and a haven for snow-birds. If you’re there in August, you’re going to be hot but not crowded!
Do a Google (or Bing) search for the Tucson Rock & Gem Show, which has just concluded. Follow links for contributors to see if you can get in touch with anyone who can help you plan a rock-hunting trip out here.
For the purpose of establishing mutual permit or license recognition with other states, the Arizona Department of Public Safety shall enter into a written agreement if another state requires a written agreement.
Notwithstanding the provisions of this section, a person with a concealed weapons permit from another state may not carry a concealed weapon in this state if the person is under twenty-one years of age or is under indictment for, or has been convicted of, a felony offense in any jurisdiction, unless the person's rights have been restored and the conviction is expunged, set-aside or vacated and the applicant is currently not a prohibited possessor under state or federal law.

“People of America”
People of America
it’s time to take a stand

People of America
it’s time to take a stand
come on,come on

will we rise as one
to defend the american way
they don’t report the news
all they feed us
is their biased views
common sense on vacation
government spending spree
will future generations
know sweet liberty
to thine self be true
the time for term limits
is long overdue
photo id to drive your car
but not when you vote
greed and corruption
the truth is the antidote
we keep depending
on foreign oil
when we have plenty
under american soil
tax you for living
tax you when you die
tax you tomorrow
for the sun and the sky
uncle sam taking over
gonna tell my doctor
how to care for me
time to close our border
protect freedom’s domain
don’t let our fallen heroes
sacrafice be in vain
people of america(refrain)
This is a song I wrote. I wish I’d never had reason to write it. It sums up all my feelings with what is happening in our great nation today. The song is a 60’s style guitar driven rock song. I figured if one is going to write a”protest”song, then it needs to rock!
I am heartsick like all of you. I think of our children and grand-children. What kind of future will they have if we don’t take a stand?
I think of all the young men and women who gave their all for our freedom. Their lives, their bodies, their minds.
Not in my worst nightmare could I ever imagine what is happening now. America,a communist nation? NEVER!!!!
The light at the end of the tunnel is that there are millions of us who believe in the founding principals set forth in our constitution! The heartbeat of our great republic still beats strong!
You can find “People of America” in the music section on our website. http://www.heywhoopeecat.com/
Sorry for the self promtion, but if one doesn’t tell people, how will they know?
I’m proud to say that I hail from the great state of Oklahoma...the only state in the nation that bama didn’t win a single county!!
Happy Easter...God bless us all...each and everyone..:-)
Could it have been this PA Republican’s stunt, TokuMei?
Republican uses animals, mariachi band to critique border security [Hilarious!]

We went to CO in 2008 and SD in 2009, in both cases primarily for rocks and minerals (and nature photography and a bit of hiking). We think we may have driven out of SD with a vehicle at least 90lbs heavier than when we drove in . AFAICT, it looks like AZ is*THE* very richest state for variety of minerals , so we might have to FEDEX some boxes back , lest the vehicle be too over burdened for the return trip! :-)
Good Question. I am not sure.
Quartzite’s actually on I-10, about 17 miles from the California border.
Avoid the McDonald’s; it’s usually very crowded and dirty.
Kate Smith introduces “God Bless America”*VIDEO)
“Have no fear...Juan McCain is here.”
Flush the John! McCains Got to Go! - Great new song!
Isn't that like saying, Avoid the water , water is wet? :-)
That one is even moreso than most.
Oops...that’s what I get for not spending any time over on that side of the state...
“But a blind eyes is turned...”
Who said that corruption can only exist south of the border?
I don’t fault the Border Patrol, I fault the leaders of the Border Patrol and three American Presidents. No doubt there are some corrupt Border Patrol but the problem is that the powers in Washington don’t want to stop the illegals. They want to fool the voters into thinking that the border is being protected so they do things that make the Border Patrol ineffective. For instance, they make the Border Patrol allow Mexican illegals to return rather than putting them in jail. The illegals just walk back for a little while than return north an hour after the Border Patrol drives away. It’s a cat and mouse game.
Another message that encourages human smugglers is the fact that they are given very light sentences. I believe that the judges are sending them a message that they should keep on their human trafficking because they will not receive any harsh sentence. It is a wink, wink, nod, nod to the traffickers. Don’t forget that judges are part of the political machines of either the Democrat or Republican parties and there are open border political leaders in both parties.
There was a recent case of a four year old girl who was smuggled into the country. The girl had come in separately from the mother. The smuggler demanded more money from the mother than they had agreed to. He threatened that she would never see her daughter again. The little girl was held captive in this guy’s house, was abused and molested. The mother went to the authorities and eventually the smuggler was caught and the little girl was released.
How many serious felonies have you counted in the about story? First this guy was a human trafficker who was probably responsible for many counts of human smuggling. Then he kidnaps a child. Then he extorts money from her mother. Then he abuses and molests the child. That is at least four felonies.
Want to guess what his sentence was? Eighteen months! Tell me this judge was not sending a message to the Mexican organized crime establishment.
I said that he was sentenced to eighten months but how much time is he really going to serve? When he is in the system and the story in no longer in the news they will probably reduce his sentence even further.
