If nothing else you would expect that they would be smart enough to realize that West Hollywood is one of the 10 Gayest Communities in the U.S., and the vast majority of the locals hate Republicans. The walls were going to have ears and likely cameras. They should have treated this like a visit to East Berlin at the height of the Cold War.

Better to overtake the Republican party as they have better donor lists & contacts .
That being said they still have a great deal of work to do towards their own security ie loyal armed guards at various campaign offices after hours to ensure that break-ins don’t happen & laptop computers with donor lists aren’t stolen like what was happening just a few years ago.
Also when talking on cell phones in conference calls with other party leadership use encrytped phones so Ma & Pa Kettle with their Radio shack scanner & tape recorder can’t eaves drop & give it to a RAt party operative or state controlled media flunky.
These are just 2 simple things the GOP can do to prove they are serious about the threat of the Fascist that are the DNC.

The one that should be fired is Steele. We have done the affirmative action thing, like the nation, and it isn’t working. He is usually out pimping his book and never out front holding up the party. Say what you want about Howard Dean but he was there, on TV radio anywhere and everywhere selling the party line. Steele has no idea what the party line is.
