A straight face is no problem for a dedicated liar. Sometimes it is easy to wonder if they even know what the truth is. It is also easy to assume they know absolutely nothing about how the market works or the value of free enterprise. For years they have been excused for this "ignorance" with the explanation of "unintended consequences."
The logical conclusion is that people can't be that dumb over an extended period of time. The outcome indicates they know full well what they are doing. They are purposely destroying this country with the misguided idea of rebuilding it as a Communist Utopia, an idea that has proven itself a myth for over 100 years.
You are correct about Cloward-Piven but that is just one of the many tricks and deceptions they use.
Sad that this is not more widely known.
It will give tax credits for half of the premiums an owner pays if the owner has fewer than 10 employees averaging $20,000 a year. The average small businesses with < 11 employees have average salaries per employee of $27,000, however, meaning most businesses won't even get to take half of the premiums as tax credit.
Also, the plan ends abruptly after 5 years, probably negatively affecting cash flow at that point.
I now consider this small business incentive as bells and whistles material.
As you say, most owners will probably not take the tax credit.
Don’t forget, business genius Barack Insane Obama thinks that businesses borrow the money to meet payroll.
I have a friend whose family is from East Texas. East Texas is more akin to the Southeast than the Southwest. They are dyed in the wool Democrats and probably no longer know why.
They voted for Obama and have been sort of sheepish about it ever since. However, they won't yet admit a mistake and instead try to defend Obama every chance they get.
Recently, he said his mother really liked the $250 she would be getting to help pay for her drugs. I said, "Yeah, that $20/mth will really be a Godsend!" He immediately saw how foolish the idea was and dropped the subject.
So your company could replace you with any Joe off the street with an order book?
Beware of politicians bearing "gifts" and "credits".
“If the administration feels they have to sell it, thats all you need to know.”
It also reveals that they fear its repeal or nullification.
If it was the lock they pretend he would already be working on amnesty for an enlarged parasite base.
Dont forget, business genius Barack Insane Obama thinks that businesses borrow the money to meet payroll.

That is the leftist business model.
Is it a tax credit or a tax deduction? If it’s a tax credit, then it offsets more than $250 of income. How much more depends on the effective rate the business is paying in taxes.
Even so, the average cost of coverage is much more than the $1,100 you suggest. It’s more like $6,000, I think. And that makes your overall point valid. A $250 credit at a 15% tax rate offsets less than $2,000.
If they do, they are one payday away from bankruptcy.
‘now a certifiable lunatic’?
I thought that 3 years ago.
Actually I thought from his speeches he was Schizophrenic.
