MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- A federal judge has struck down a Wisconsin law that prohibits transgender inmates from receiving taxpayer-funded hormone therapy.
A group of male inmates who identify as female had challenged the 2006 law. They say they need the therapy to treat their gender identity disorder.

Why not go the cheaper way out and just get some ministers to come to the prison and tell them to quit the sinning?
The article doesn’t state what the hormones being administered are.
But I would guess that if the shemale cons were given testosterone, it might help shake the men out of the notion that they were “women” and bring a bit more order and sanity to the penitentiary.
I don’t this decision as a total negative, except for labeling this as a “right”.

They are told you cannot make up your mind whether you are a man or a woman. They are told they have been assigned as your cellmates to help you make up your mind.
The therapeutic results will be released in thirty days or or concurrently with the autopsy results, whichever first occurs.
They may opt for “Rectal Rearrangement Surgery”, by moving it to the front. Silicone breast implants, then whisker pulling, and Presto!

Unelected federal judges just flick away state laws as if they were no more than lint, as if the law did not go through a long process involving the representatives of the people.
It wasn’t supposed to be this way.
