I've seen nothing yet that proves this "Obama has a high IQ" nonsense

And if you consider how the bar is lowered in the interest of ethnic diversity...from what I've seen I don't think he would have gotten anywhere if he was white.

Obama’s IQ is low, he appears to be a moron, but I don’t think Palin is a “potentially suitable candidate” right now.

Please tell us why you feel that is and who you think would be a good presidential candidate for 2012.

I agree. Although I am short of mensa qualification, I think Iam as smart as this guy. My estimate is that he is on the same level as the average college professor. I just heard Paul Ryan at a Heritage luncheon, and think that Ryan is a lot smarter. But Obama is a champion BSer, and a kind of glamour that is rare for a politician, and he has a cult following especially among blacks.

Years ago (about 50), I researched and wrote a paper on the question of correlation of IQ and great leadership.

A great leader would have to be intelligent; but, surprisingly to me at the time, The ancient philosophers disagreed that the most intelligent would make the greatest leaders because so much more is needed than intelligence--personal philosophy, firm decision making while still being flexible, ability to persuade and lead. Many super IQ people do not have these other attributes, and make lousy leaders.

I think Palin has the clear vision and love of country and tradition, plus the IQ and pragmatism needed to be a great leader.

On the IQ of Obama--I would guess between 125-130 tops. He has been "handled" into his position. If he were truly super intelligent, he would not be such an ideologue.

Since you qualify for Mensa (I don't, as I tested always around 130) what do you think is the difference in intellectualism and slyness/craftiness. I think of O as the latter 2 things--an intelletual, he ain't.

Currently, I'm researching Republicans of dubious parentage, with a suspect citizenship, cloudy general background, cloudy academic background paid for by mysterious money types, admits to using illegal drugs, with excellent photos of him or her playing kneesies with a roommate while smoking, with a dicey work history, little knowledge of or concern for American culture and legal traditions, who attended a racist church and has terrorist and white collar criminal friends, who can't speak extemporaneously, is thin skinned, arrogant, exhibits signs of totalitarian impulses and looks like the things under the human skin suits in V, and appeals to the new TMZ culture and is bi-racial.

That's a sure winner.

[Her first appearance alone was one of the great political appearances in recent memory.]

She pushed the polls in McCain's favor and the news media went into a blind, hysterical panic and used the only weapon they had: slander. As Obama’s Kamikaze agenda maims Democrats and McCain fights for his life, Palin may yet be the real winner of 2008.

She hasn’t the intellectual preparation even at the most basic level of popular reading and general knowledge, as the Katie Couric interview during the campaign demonstrated.

Stopped reading there.

What will determine if Palin is a “suitable” candidate will be if she can put together a team of core advisers that both respect her and bring a wide range of expertise and organization skills. In order to be a successful President, one must have an army of core dedicated staff that can fill positions with people that are both competent and share their bosses vision. Not an easy task.

Answer it again...especially the "who you think would be a good presidential candidate for 2012" part. I didn't see your answer. This is a large forum.

Thanks in advance.

Start with her support of a path to citizenship, belief in global warming, support of McCain, quitting during her term...

Answer it again...especially the "who you think would be a good presidential candidate for 2012" part.

No one. It's 2010. I do like Jim Demint although there is no indication that he will run, or a group of blind worshipers.

OMGoodness .. I thought I was the only person in the world who did not believe the myth: he’s so intelligent.

I can’t give you evidence .. but to me he’s more of a robot. He has an agenda - and he will do whatever it takes to accomplish it. He knows that what he’s doing is wrecking the country .. but that’s his purpose.

I came to this realization when VP Biden let loose with one of his famous “gaffes” - he said, “The Stimulus is working exactly the way it was supposed to”. When I heard that I just sat there stunned. I said to myself, did he just say what I thought he said ..??

Then, I jumped up and down and I was screaming at my TV - IT’S ON PURPOSE - THEY’RE DOING IT ON PURPOSE.

It makes me almost crazy when people say, he’s not “evil” he’s just wrong. Anybody who wants to destroy this country .. THEY’RE EVIL.

Here we go again; the lie that Democrats are of towering IQ and much smarter than Republicans.

The simple fact is that liberals/Democrats revere IQ as the ultimate measure and always lie about how astronomically high their IQ is. They never offer any proof of their claims.

At the same time, they do everything in their power to portray conservatives/Republicans as being of mediocre/low IQ; repeating the lie in the face of proof to the contrary.

Though IQ is not the ultimate measure, we should never allow liberals/Democrats to perpetrate this disgusting libel/slander on our people. Recognize it as their routine lies and always challenge them.

Rub their noses in their own filth!

I remember in 2006, when BHO was just gearing to make his run for POUS, some talking head made a comment that BHO had a 126 or 127 IQ (I don’t remember the exact number).

And the infowarrior's GT score on the ASVAB, back in 1973 was 128. This means?

My Dad calls them “educated idiots”. Common sense often escapes them. I have a sister... who I love dearly... that fits this definition.
