A top-ranking, highly decorated officer in the U.S. Army says he's now refusing all orders until President Barack Obama finally releases his long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate to prove his eligibility to serve as commander in chief.
"I feel I have no choice but the distasteful one of inviting my own court martial," said Lt. Col. Terry Lakin, an active-duty flight surgeon charged with caring for Army Chief of Staff Gen. George Casey's pilots and air crew. "The Constitution matters. The truth matters."
"For the first time in all my years of service to our great nation, and at great peril to my career and future, I am choosing to disobey what I believe are illegal orders, including an order to deploy to Afghanistan for my second tour of duty there. I will disobey my orders to deploy because I – and I believe all servicemen and women and the American people – deserve the truth about President Obama's constitutional eligibility to the office of the presidency and the commander in chief.

Sad to see someone throw their career away over this.
It shows the kind of problems misinformation can cause a person, I suppose.
The Lt. Col. is showing a level of patriotism and personal integrity that are rare for this day and age. I applaud his courage and resolve to get at the truth.
But when will the GENERALS do the same?
I think this is nuts.
Sorry, but a Lt Col is only a mid-ranking officer. A high ranking officer that MATTERS is a 3-star or above. And, yes, this is a pointless gesture.
AMEN! Lt. Col. Terry Lake has earned a “MEDAL of HONOR”from AMERICA for this basic demand to the alleged Commander-in-Chief! Any Dirtball who doesn’t have the GUTS to release his Legal Birth Certificate has NO RIGHT to Claim he has the Llegal right to send Our troops and Military into Harm’s Way!! NONE!! Don't hold your breath. At that rank, the job is more about politics, than soldiering.
It may prove pointless. Maybe the Obammy subterfuge and lies to America can never be overcome. Some are willing to try—and at least this Doc likely has other income opportunities.
At most this will be fervently ignored in hopes the truth will not yet be revealed so more Marxist claptrap can be inflicted on the innocent.
The truth will of course be eventually be free and once again on the march, at which time the Kenyan kook will no longer be High on his Regal Throne.
