Not in Health Reform: "16,500 Armed Bureaucrats"
Whitehouse.gov ^ | April 2, 2010 | by Linda Douglass

In the latest example from an ever-growing list of willful distortions, the American people are being warned that because of health care reform, the federal government will hire over 16,000 new IRS agents to enforce the new law.

The major task of IRS employees that will work on implementing this legislation will be to inform the American people of the different aspects of reform that they stand to benefit from and to make sure the historic health care tax relief is administered smoothly and efficiently.

Getting the word out about these tax credits and delivering them smoothly and accurately will require relatively modest investments in technology and staff – even if that is less interesting to some than their fantasies about 16,000 gun-toting bureaucrats.

What’s clear from all of this is that there are people who refuse to have a debate on the merits of health care reform.

So the WH admits that the IRS will be “administering” the new health care system. It’s a start, a week ago they were denying that the IRS was involved at all.

Eventually, an armed agent of the government will show up to haul you off, taking either your liberty or your life.

When was the last time an IRS employee came to your door to help you understand potential tax credits you may be missing out on?

“Smoothly and accurately”?.

Come on Ms Douglas. I am a CPA. I deal with the IRS on a weekly basis. What they do to taxpayers is not done “smoothly and accurately”.

What the IRS does is more like the love scene in “Deliverance”.

This is one of the most deliberately insulting lies ever foisted upon the American people. It is simply another case of Obama spitting in the face of those he hates. Telling us he is going to send out 16,000 new IRS agents to help us cut our taxes is a mockery. Then, making believe they will not be armed compounds the insult.

What happens when Americans decide they don’t want an army of IRS agents invading their homes to “help them out”? Of course, it’s going to get ugly — and then, out will come the IRS guns. Exactly as planned.

So onxe again, we can’t read, or we ‘mis-interpreted’ it.

I’ll deal with this after Mass, when I get to my computer.

Interesting. Wonder what their explanation is for the 600 new 12-gauge shotguns that were just recieved by the IRS?

It was the Department of Education that just got those shotguns.

However, that whole article is a classic example of how stupid this current regime thinks we are. We know they are peeing on our legs, and we're tired of them telling us it's just raining!

Thanks for your daily demonstrations of outright deceit and being disingenuous.

The fact of that matter is you ant the IRS as a Pay agent you are going hire more agents for that requirement and they will require a whole support mechanism to do their job.

Being factually incorrect or just proclaiming a thing is or is not doesn’t change that a thing exist or will exist.

Besides, we are going to give you gift.

Appropriations - Skip it, we won’t fund it. It will become an albatross and a turkey all at the same time. This is your No Child Left Behind. Unfunded and therefore a promise not delivered.

Severability - I look real hard last night for a clause that I could even come close to interpreting as providing Severability and couldn’t find it.

The State of Virginia has point about your failure to support your own bill and provide life support to it, should any part be found unenforceable, illegal or unconstitutional so that all the parts remain intact.

Your bill is going down in flames when we prevail on the tiniest injury of our liberty and all the other parts will no longer be valid and the whole of the document is then found defective. Buh-Bye.

Constitution - I am only going to list a few:

So let’s start with Amendments:
4th Free from search and seizure without probable cause
5th Due process and deprived of liberty and property
8th cruel and unusual punishment. subjecting him to psych.

Interstate Commerce Clause - Insurance has been regulated by the states and you are taking this away and creating a whole new bureaucracy to support a Federaly centralized policy and support mechanism. FAIL!

You are demanding that a private citizen, who currently not doing business with an insurance company, enter into contract with a private company. Not only illegal and part of takings clause, but just plain stupid. FAIL, you should have made it a tax and you would have a better chance of prevailing.

No one is constitutionally required to do business with anyone, a corporation or render service to another on some pro forma basis that you decide.

Doctors and I know a few, will stop taking Medicare patients since you and the Congress decided to cut their reimbursements by 21% effective now.

Who in your utopia gets the haircut on this one? The nurse who assists the doctor? The drug suppliers? The electric company? The guy that makes computers or software so doctors can run a business?

How about the phone company who provides access to the Internet? The doctor is required to submit his requests for payment as well as patient history and the government forces them to use an FTP site for this. Oh and by the way, it’s lame the way you do it.

How about the guy that makes the software that interfaces to your system, that doctors submit their requests for payment? Shouldn’t he be required to lower his costs, for the good of everyone?

Finally, in your utopia, who do choose to go on welfare when they can no longer afford their mortgage or rent?

Who moves to a smaller house in a less desireable part of town because you demand they deliver the same amount of service as before?

The nurse, the EMT, the Doctor, the drug manufacturer, the people at the electric company or the people at the phone company?

See you in court, you jester and see you at the House Appropriations comittees.

Happy Easter?

“to inform the American people of the different aspects of reform”

It’s the same old “I’m from the government and I’m here to help you”. Aside from firefighters and cops, has that EVER been true? EVER?
