President Obama will rewrite Americas policy on nuclear weapons next week, heralding further reductions in the U.S. stockpile and giving a pledge not to develop new systems.

Another reason why the Founding Fathers believed that the President of the United States needs to be an American.
Bring the troops home. They are needed here...
This is rapidly moving beyond the realm of the absurd into the realm of the dangerous.
The new American posture will be bend over.
Putin’s Bitch
Thank you, sir! May I have another?
As this Facist pig Obozo decimates the advancement of our military, our enemies are rapidly modernizing and expanding theirs. They killed the F-22, they are talking about downsizing the F-35, LCS, we are not modernizing our armor forces, etc.. At this rate we will be no more powerful than Mexico. This makes me sick thinking about our future outlook.

‘Soft’ power
We all know how well that worked in the 30s
At what point does the military that swore an oath to protect and defend the United States against ALL enemies foreign AND DOMESTIC, finally stand up and not only tell obammy no, but HELL NO? (rhetorical!)
Go ruin your own country and leave America alone.
That’s okay, the next President can change this - just like he is changing everything. Less than three years to go!!!!
Less than three years to go!!!!
That is a very, very, very, very long time!
But getting shorter every day. We need to treat him like the temporary employee he is - not allowing him to be treated like some kind of god.
Did you ever see the movie “The Man Who Would Be King”?
I hope he has a similar fate as Sean Connery in the movie.
I missed that one - will have to check with netflix.
I knew this guy would be bad, but he is far worse than even I imagined. God help our country. He has been in office only 16 months and look at the problems he has created.
It’s a good movie.
PING
Confidential to Daryl Kimball: if Obama "drop[s] the notion, espoused by his predecessor, that nuclear warheads can be deployed in certain circumstances; for example, if another country resorts to attacking U.S. forces with chemical or biological weapons" then he is eschewing deterrence. Or does Kimball support reconstituting a bio / chemical capability so we can respond in kind to such a scenario?
Hammer Congress over this unilateral disarmament before the 2010 elections.
At this point it is not the nukes,it is the human factor that is killing the Army.
I thing Russia will have other things to worry about then whether or not Obama makes good on this particular promise.
Nukes can’t solve the border issue,it might be able to solve the chechen problem though.....wonder how that go here.
He is making us vulnerable, which of course is his intent.
1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.
2. U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war.
3. Develop the illusion that total disarmament [by] the United States would be a demonstration of moral strength.

It is disturbing that our Commander and Chief is bound and determined to assure our position as the number 2 nuclear power.
While he may be happy in this situation with his delusion of moral superiority, I hope he can live with the consequences if our enemies decide to take advantage of the situation which could be catastrophic for us. History does not favor the weak.
Obama would go down in history as the worst leader the US ever had. Technology will record his decisions, time-stamped in history with the detail few before him will have had.
Well on the bright side, things can only get better at some point, and the bloodier our noses from Obama’s Presidency, the longer it will be before we make this terrible mistake again.
I wonder the same thing. We are definitely being taken over from within.
