Religion of peace and tolerance. Right.

Gunmen.
The strife continues. It’s amazing that Fox News will only provide that piece of information and nothing else.

BAGHDAD (AP) Iraqi officials say attackers have killed 25 people in Sunni area south of Baghdad.
Sad .. aftermath of Alawi’s election ?
With Iran intact, can Iraq, after US withdrawal, function at all?
Unrelated, but notice how the MSM stopped giving a near-nightly count of US troop deaths in Iraq right around January 20th, 2009?
Iran will always be the obstacle. God
bless the Iraqis.

The officials say most of the dead are members of local Sahwa, or Awakening Councils — one of several names for the Sunni fighters who changed the course of the war when they revolted against Al Qaeda and joined the Americans in late 2006 and 2007. They are also known as Sons of Iraq.
Mustafa Kamel, a Sahwa leader south of Baghdad, said the attack took place late Friday in Arab Jobour village, about 15 miles south of Baghdad.
An official at Iraq’s Interior Ministry confirmed the attack and said the victims were 20 men and five women.

I certainly hope this isn’t a sign of things to come, the election dispute between Maliki and Alawi could reignite the sectarian War that almost tore the country apart in ‘06 and ‘07. Maliki used to be a former ally of the Pentagon, do you think he is influenced more by the Iranians now or is he just trying to cling to power like any other politician would?
I see here a CNN story that ‘Iraqi security forces have arrested 25 suspects in the incident.’
I wonder if there is any politics that is being played when they round these people up? Sure, some legitimate suspects are rounded up,but it is hard to believe that the Iraqis weren’t just waiting for an excuse to round up 25 people that were most likely Sunnis. Not only are a bunch of Sunni Sons of Iraq eliminated and intimidated, but then the Shi’ites round up more ‘suspects.’
Well, FWIW, I believe Iraq (Babylon) will - once again - fall to Iran (Persia), setting up 2/3s of the “Lion-Bear-Leopard” triad that will threaten Israel’s extermination.
The third leg of the stool? Syria. It’s all starting to fall in place.
Watch how fast things start to happen when the U.S. pulls out of Iraq with no leverage or localized threat to keep Iran from going nuclear.
We’re not far from Armageddon, people. You think Israel is going to let Iran get nukes? Israel will nuke them first if that’s what it takes. if that happens, all hell is - quite literally - going to break loose there.
And Obama will fiddle while the world burns. The anointing of Satan (that is, the anointing of destruction) is on him. Everything he touches he destroys.
Hate to get all “Revelation” on y’all, but these are dangerous times, indeed, thanks to all the mental midgets that elected this idiot.
Obama is pure evil. It drips from him and I am looking forward to the day when God deals with him and his minions.
Sounds like Mexico.
“Gunmen”????
What? Not a MAN CAUSED EVENT????
What’s wrong with these stupid reporters?!?!
God help Iraq. God help US. : sigh :
Americans wearing camo and chatting on the Internet = terrorists
Muslims killing dozens of people = gunmen
The victims were Muslims.
I have said it before and will repeat every chance I get. Islam is at war within itself, not only are some of its adherents attacking “infidels”.
These Muslim victims of violence by other Muslims took the brave step of siding with the United States when deciding to turn against al-qaeda.
But by the logic of some (not saying YOU) on this forum, who say kill all Muslims, then these victims deserved to die as well just for being Muslims and for no other reason.
By that logic, celebrations of their murders would be in order?????
We need to realize, as our generals and warriors do, that sometimes parts of the enemy will side with us. And that’s good, and we need to distinguish between those Muslims who side with us and those who murder these American Allies.
The ‘gunmen’ description got to me too.
Sickening.
