Rep. Jane Harman (D-CA), speaking on Meet the Press this morning, equated with terrorists the thousands of Americans who thronged the Capitol during the recent Tea Party protests against the Democrats' takeover of the health care system.
Harman was talking about the arrests this week of 'militia' members charged with domestic terrorism and how their alleged plans were to use improvised explosive devices as part of a plot to kill law enforcement officers.
Harman directly pivoted from that to invoking the Capitol Police officers who guard Capitol Hill, saying that they were the only thing protecting Congress from a similar fate during the health care takeover protests.
Harman chairs the House Homeland Security Subcommittee on Intelligence, Information Sharing and Terrorism Risk Assessment.

Somebody should put out a “Jane you ignorant sl—!” Alert when this lady speaks to the press... Thousands of families, old folks, protesting and picking after themselves, and they are all terrorists. That is deliberate ignorance and slandering calumny on the highest order.
When the media and these politicians say stuff like this, who are they targeting? They must be trying to convince somebody important. They have their own base sewn up so it isn’t them. They certainly aren’t going to convince conservatives.
It has to be the squishy “niceness” police made up of Catholic and High protestant soccer moms and self proclaimed middle of the road metrosexual males. They don’t like high taxes but evil “extreme” people are anathema. They’ll go for who ever promises to be “the nicest people”! They vote in enough numbers to make the difference in a lot of elections but as a general rule they have no deep core principles other than the fact that you have to be nice and make sure your dish placements are all in the proper order. Many of them “worship God” but deny his power, hence their aversion to “extremist Christians” and all their talk of blood spilled for our sins...(”oooooo
icky”) and actually living up to what Christ advocated. Which means, of course taking stands on issues that at times puts us at odds with the “niceness police”.
More likely, she envies Pelosi’s power.
Gee, if ObamaCare was so popular why were there thousands of protesters? One would think there would be cheering crowds.

It’s official. With Harman on MTP, something is up with the Statists. She’s way too smart just to make some dopey charge off the top of her head. Look for Schumer to pull something similar and we’ll have confirmation.
I wonder if she is vulnerable in her district. She is from California if I recall. Which would mean of course she is probably a shoe in for relection....with ilegal alien votes and what not.

It is coming. They have read the numbers and have run their scenarios and worked out the numbers into November...and they know they are going to get creamed at the polls, so they have to set up a power grab now on unconstitutional national security grounds. Look for Limbaugh and Beck and others to be arrested first. They will also engineer some other events and create scapegoats.

It is such an ugly thing to label individuals with the likes of "terrorist" or "racist". What if the entire crowd called her a "child abuser" or "thief" or a "murderer"
There must be a few people in that crowd from her district.
