We’re finally starting to see the rest of the world come to realize what I originally reported on this site: that both Sean Hannity and Freedom Alliance are defrauding donors to their scams, er . . . “charities.” And now, as a result of my work, a major charity evaluator–a charity evaluator whose rating of the group I exposed as completely flawed–has woken up downgraded Freedom Alliance, slashing its rating in half.
A few weeks ago, I blew the lid off of the fraud that is Sean Hannity’s Freedom Concerts and the scam “charity” known as “Freedom Alliance.” I showed you the organization’s tax returns and how Hannity lied to his audience when he told them a $30,000 sponsorship by Boca Java would fund a whole year’s college scholarship for the child of a fallen American soldier. I showed you that, in fact, Freedom Alliance has NEVER paid for the full year’s tuition of a college student.

The Freedom Alliance needs to show their books and either shut her up or do some serious explaining. Hannity is not the brightest bulb in the lamp, but he devotes a lot of time and money to charitable causes.
He doesn’t seem like the type of guy who would knowingly take advantage of a charitable cause.
And since then, after I followed up and reported the accounts of TWO insiders, witnesses to Oliver North telling Sean Hannity to stop spending hundreds of thousands of dollars of the concert revenues on private planes...
I am sure our heroes could use that $165.00 but not nearly as much as Sean could use that private jet plane.
Who is Debbie Schlessel, how was she scorned and why should I or anybody care?

Debbie’s done some good investigative work, and some work that went nowhere. IMHO, she’s letting her intense dislike of Hannity drive these blogs.
FA IMHO, should open up to shut her up.

She seems just a bit too joyous and frankly, obsessed with this. Who really has time to check into this crap on their own. It just seems that if so many have been hurt by this or were given questionable amounts, they would be screaming. No one is screaming except this banshee.
I doubt that she’s saying that. I think she’s saying that he has not used the money raised wisely. Maybe I didn’t understand. I don’t think he would profit from the concerts either.

I’ve seen her pitcure, even if I was single and it was closing time, don’t think I’d go to a motel room w/her.

A woman scorned. Was a friend of “Vannity” then she got mad. IMHO, she is mixing apples and oranges with the Foundation vs. a fundraising event that is only connected to the Freedom Alliance in that the Freedom Concerts donate their proceeds (after expenses) to the Scholarship fund. Plenty of “high end” fundraisers give all sorts of perks to donors in exchange for their donation and participation. I don’t get why she thinks that people that attend the concerts don’t understand that the enormous security costs for the cities hosting the events, are a large part of the costs.
I’ll leave that one alone. ;)

Actually the Freedom Alliance has shown their books over and over. They are as upfromt as any charity out there.
BTW Hannity pays his way and the way of any of his family who travels with him PLUS donates thousands to this charity among others.
This charity if for college for children of slain warriors of Iraq and Afghanistan. Think about it. the huge majority of warriors killed are vbery young so their kids will be young too.
The big need for scholarship help with be in 10-28 years and if you look at the charity’s books you will see they are planning for it

Hannity has said from the beginning of his involvement with the Freedomn Alliance that he pays his own way, lodging, etc for this cause. I have e-mailed her personally on other so-called investigations and she is one scornful woman. If you’d like to see some of her objectivity, bring up the condition of Detroit. She goes off on anyone who tries to report the dismal condition of that state and city.
she is saying that (wise use) and i agree that there are probably some trimming of costs that could be done. he has another job and the timeline of these concerts may necessitate that he fly, or some of the guest performers fly back home or on to another venue or event.
my bottom line about the concerts is, that there is a lot of money for education scholarships that the Freedom Alliance wouldn’t have without these concerts. that money is around 10 million and IMHO, is better than nothing.
If she really has some facts to support her allegations, why hasn’t she been in touch with her state attorney general? Seems to me she is throwing around a lot of accusations without a whole lot of hard supporting evidence. So a charity watchdog group downgraded Freedom Alliance. That really doesn’t mean anything. How do we know the charity watchdog group doesn’t have some personal beef with Mr. Hannity and/or Freedom Alliance?

i’m not sure what her original beef was with Hannity, but she was real peeved at him in October about a guest he had on. a disgraced dem congressman whom she says is Anti-Semetic. i heard the interview and Hannity let him hang himself. debbie was peeved that Hannity even let him on.
interesting. when i listed to sean last week, he was getting his digs in at her when he was describing the tour he’s going on. speaking about what HE paid for.

I’m not a huge Hannity fan but I really don’t see him as a scammer.
One thing that does tick me off, is when folks get pissed at anybody with money...they start screaming about private jets.
Those jets provide JOBS for MANY who AREN’T rich and it helps keep the aerospace industry afloat.
I’m grateful to those rich private jet share buying or outright buying business folk!

Can’t be many college aged children of fallen heros yet. Soldiers are young so their families are young. I just don’t buy any of this stuff against Hannity and this foundation. I will believe Shaun until I see the books.

Then she needs to discuss this issue with him privately instead of airing accusations...possibly false ones at that...in the public arena without solid proof.
I don't know who this woman thinks she is or why some on FR put so much stock in her blog postings, but IMHO, she really needs to put some restraint on her histrionics, she is the type that makes us look bad, not Hannity.
The context of the $165 & other small donations is various vet associations ask for one time plane fares, etc for wounded vets. Sort of like you giving $10 to a fund raiser for a family short of money and then someone sees your name and say you were to cheap because they lost the father to a sickness and that is why they were short of money.
Context is everything.
