Coulter Defends Steele, DNC ‘In No Position’ to Complain...With Dems' Past Playboy Parties and All
Newsbusters ^ | 04/05/10 | Anthony Kang

Ann Coulter for one has refused to pour gasoline on the Voyeur fire - pledging her full support and offering praise for RNC Chairman Michael Steele.

As Good Morning America's George Stephanopoulos so touchingly pointed out to Steele, a few Republican leaders have been publicly highly critical of Steele and according to a "poll of insiders" only 20 percent consider him an asset to the party.

"Everyone seemed to like him and recently it's like story after story after story - is this guy being villainized?" Fox Business Channel's Eric Bolling asked Coulter on the April 5 "Happy Hour."

Am I missing someting in all this?

RNC staffer uses committee money at sleazy bar in LA. Steele wasn't there and had nothing to do with it. Staffer is fired.

What else is there?

“...but the dems are sleazy too!”

Love Ann. But I think she had too much caffeine before appearing on this program

“I’m far less concerned about that than I am at the fact that he’s a liberal who can’t resist playing the race card.”

Agreed. His ‘gaffs’ are so extraordinary that I consider him a sabateur.

I’m cutting you some slack, because you have been here less than a month. Threads can be posted to either “Editorial” or “Front Page News” (among other places). They should never be posted to both.

Using private chattered planes instead of taking commercial flights lkke everyone else, staying in the most expenses suites at the most expansive hotels and spending up to a massive $9,000 on hotel bills alone in just one trip to LA recently, attempting to get the RNC to buy a private plane for him, at a time of a recession when families who donate money to the RNC are struggling t make ends meet, staging the recent RNC meeting in far away Hawaii, so he can live it up when everyone else was freezing here, managing to squander most of the money he inherited so that today the RNC has much less cash than it did when he took over, with this year's elections coming up... Do you want me to continue?
Look, even Romney, who is very rich flew commercial to the recent Olympics, and Sarah Palin, who inherited a governors private jet, sold it off to cut costs. What planet is Steele living on?

Well, before I jump into this list of damning excess I'd have a few questions.

"a massive $9,000 on hotel bills alone in just one trip to LA recently"

$9,000 is not a lot of money for hotel rooms in LA. "one trip." OK. How many days, how many rooms?

"Chartered planes." What's wrong with using chartered planes? I'm serious. Sometimes it's the most efficient and cost-effective means.

"RNC meeting in far away Hawaii." OK. Did the event have anything to do with Hawaiians?

Maybe you know all about these things already, but how do I know your list wasn't written by some I-hate-Republican-fat-cats poster at the Daily KOS? It's accusation without context.

What's wrong with using chartered planes?

They cost more, and it's not his money to spend as he likes. The donors want their money spent on GOP candidates to beat the Democrats in November, not on private planes, when commercial flights will do.
What's wrong with commercial flights?
Look, if Micheal Steele wants to ride in private jets, he can go into private enterprise and make hundreds of millions of dollars like Mitt Romney did..Oh wait, Mitt Romney still flies by commercial jets just like anyone else.

Did the event have anything to do with Hawaiians?”

Nope.

Michael Steele, will you please go?
You can go on stilts.
You can go by fish.
You can go in a Crunk-Car if you wish.

You will need to get your tinfoil hat off buddy. There is something called posting record. Look it up.

It's accusation without context.”

Naaah.
Its your garbage that is without contest. You could start off by actually doing a bit of research on Michael Steele's record and his screw-ups since he took over. They have been posted on here often enough.

God Bless Ann Coulter. I see she has read Ronald Reagan’s 11th commandment - and she wants to win in November.

Good for her!

Frankly, I don’t think Steele personally approved of whatever ridiculous charges there were...and I also think this kind of crap is to the delight of Hussein and his toadies.

Geez, guys, Hussein and the rats just passed the most fascist legislation in our nations history. This makes the New Deal look like libertarian capitalism....and we’re having a tempest in a teapot over a $2000 charge at a strip club?

We need to stay focused on the damn enemy, and it isn’t Michael Steele....it is Barack Hussein Obama.

JMO. but it ain’t humble. :)

She’s attacking Democrats and defending Republicans. This is what Steele should be doing.
