I am content to forego the LAT in favor of my friend sockmonkey’s opinion of Archbishop Jose’ Gomez.

I noticed the LAT had no trouble finding those who were "promoted" by the Archbishop./s

He is a leader of a church that, ideologically, "is kind of everywhere depending on what the issue is," said Father David Garcia, the former rector of San Antonio's storied San Fernando Cathedral and a longtime collaborator with Gomez.

What I hate seeing is that it's evident that those who were under his heel, are already wriggling out now that the word on the streets is San Antonio may be without an Archbishop for up to a year.

I was less than thrilled with at least one of his possible successors whose name was being tossed around today on the SA news stations. Archbishop Gomez, don't leave us.
