We certainly can’t allow the media to pick Obummer’s 2012 opponent.

But the snide comments re Ron Paul don’t become you and don’t help elect anybody in 2012.

Paul is extremely unlikely to be the Republican candidate in 2012. Why go out of your way to piss off his supporters ?

Those “paulites” could be valuable allies in the fight against the ‘rats. My feeling is that we need every ally we can get to turn the Obummer travesty around.

Isn’t THAT more important than “Oh, he’s a poo-poo head” style insults ?

I don't see that the paulites are interested in anything but paul, themselves, or disruption. I don't see their involvement in Tea Parties other than disrupting those too. I don't see paulites' being willing to work with conservatives to fight for victory. In fact, when challenged, they never respond with anything remotely conservative.

It is only after observing their hardcore opposition to and unwillingness to participate in the conservative upswell in the country that I have come to the conclusion that they are not on our side.

I will be happy to be proven wrong, but unless you show me some paulites who are more bothered by Obama than they are by conservative Republicans and who are willing to actually do something to get rid of the enemy in the WH and Congress, I will continue to think of them as "poo-poo heads."

As I said, prove me wrong if you can. They're standing in the way of removing Obama, and that does not make them my political allies.

You’re too reasonable to be a PAULTARD, so I take it you have not read their threads and remarks about Sarah Palin?

For the large part, I think ohioWfan’s comments can speak for me. If you’re a Libertarian in the John Stossel sense, rather than the Ron Paul crank/Bircher sense, then I have to wonder why you’re concerned about Ron Paul who’s always been for Ron Paul and then third party candidate and never for the Republican nominee?

I don't think any of us are going out of our way to simply get them angry, mostly they are running around with their juvenile posse, picking on anything they can to get conservatives angry. We're kind of responding to their insanity, not picking the fight, mostly defending Sarah Palin from their inane objections in actual fact.

I doubt they could ever be "allies", particularly against the rats, they're too busy trying to get conservatives in a circular firing squad.

Ron Paul and his cult are no friends of the conservative movement. Oh, they talk a good game, and Paul is right on some things, such as the need for much smaller government and a lot of his economic stances. But on other issues, he is just completely out there. And he appears to be consumed with contempt for most of his Republican peers, even the conservative ones, while you rarely, if ever see him criticizing any Democrats.

Paul is extremely unlikely to be the Republican candidate in 2012. Why go out of your way to piss off his supporters ?

We don't go out of our way. We just freely express our contempt. The Pauestinians can hold their own, believe me. I can't count how many Paulestinians I have had screaming insults at me and twisting my words to support their agenda. We like to let the Paulbots know that we're on to that agenda and they become positively unhinged once they are aware that they can't sway us.

Those “paulites” could be valuable allies in the fight against the ‘rats. My feeling is that we need every ally we can get to turn the Obummer travesty around.

I wish that were true, but I must respectfully disagree. Ron Paul is about Ron Paul and his own acolytes. They are infiltrating the conservative movement and attempting to get their own elected into high-profile offices. (Recent example: Debra Medina's TX gubernatorial primary candidacy.) They hate Republicans, but run on that ticket because they know they don't have any chance of winning anything on the (L) ticket. Once they lose a primary, they tend to announce that they will not support the successful GOP candidate and they go with the 'RATS or third party.

I can assure you that if, for example, there was a Paul acolyte running in the AZ Senate GOP primary, the Paulestinians would be trashing JD Hayworth to the extent of at least ten FR threads a day.

All these people really do is give the conservative movement a bad name. If they can't get their anti-war, truther candidates into various elections, they put their support elsewhere, usually with a third-party candidate.

There are some good conservative candidates out there who I hope will run in the 2012 primary and for other high-profile offices later this year. But watch...as any of them gains any sort of prominence within the tea parties, the Paulites will find fault with them and shout it from the rooftops in their spammy little way. The Paul Cult is focused on one thing and one thing only: Ron Paul.

Right.  Just like the Allied Forces needed the Russians to beat back Nazi Germany in WWII.  We weren't exactly arm-in-arm friends with Russia, but they proved capable of decimating Hitler's Eastern Front.

Obama is going to want to pick fights with all his political enemies, and that includes the Ron Paul people, because the Ron Paul people love this country more than he does.

I don't count myself among the "Paulites", but I see them as a valuable asset in defeating the Obama agenda.

They're valuable assets only if they join the fight against Obama.

All I see is that they are against Republicans. I have yet to see that their highest priority is to get rid of Obama.

Can you prove me wrong? I'd love to be wrong, but I don't think I am.

Newt is to politics as Greenspan is to finance. They both need to just go away already.

Gingrich's Contract with America was remarkabley well done and got us the House.

The Paulites I know have said they are against the political establishment in Washington.

After agonizing over the losses the GOP incurred in 2004, 2006 and 2008, mostly because they didn't fight back against the Democrat party and listened to the GOP base, I'm becoming weary of supporting a party that doesn't listen to it's base.

Sooner rather than later, a person needs to say "enough".

Jindal is NOT eligible to hold the office of POTUS per article two of our Constitution. He is NOT a 'natural born citizen' as both his parents were foreign nationals at the time of his birth in Louisianna.

Well then, tell me when they changed the Law. Because if two illegal immigrants come here from Mexico and have a kid on this soil, that kid is an American citizen.
Now, if I'm wrong please tell me but I live in Texas and we have a whole heck of a lot of Mexican Anchor babies running around.

An anchor baby is defined as an offspring of an illegal immigrant or other non-citizen, who under current legal interpretation becomes a United States citizen at birth. These children may instantly qualify for welfare and other state and local benefit programs. Additionally with the passage of the 1965 Immigration and Nationality Act, the child may sponsor other family members for entry into the United States when he or she reaches the age of twenty-one.

You are confusing ‘citizen’ with ‘natural born citizen’.

I won’t disagree but i don’t think he has even a 1% chance at the nomination at this point in time.

Well, it's a curious time to say "enough" when they're starting to listen, and when fresh, new conservative faces are popping up all over the country.

I never pictured you as one who would give up the fight, BigSky. I'm really surprised at your defeatism.

btw, I know what the Paulites are against. What I want to know is, why don't they care about fixing the problem?

I do understand why some of the freeper naysayers and malcontents have glommed on to Paul. He's mad all the time, and so are they.

Anger is not a quality that will get us anywhere unless it's channeled. And I haven't seen a single Paulite who's doing anything but being mad. No focus. No purpose. Nothing worthwhile..........including the desire to SAVE the country from Marxists.
