Who would have thought a 24 year old Taiwanese man with a Beatles bowl cut could belt out notes rivaling Whitney Houston?
After a hair-raising performance on Taiwanese singing contest Super Star Avenue, Lin Yu Chun now seems to be the favorite to take home the $1 million prize.
His internet fame is also on the rise that rivals Britian unexpected superstar Susan Boyle.
Check out Lin Yu Chun belting Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You" here (and think of The Bodyguard):

He should have someone write original songs for him. Needs originality!!
I thought that was a young kid who hadn’t gone through puberty. Whitney sure can’t sing like that anymore
I do think of the Bodyguard....a lot....
Saw it yesterday. If I was watching him sing I’d swear I was hearing the younger Whitney singing.
Heard Dolly Parton wrote that...
She did.
I dont know if Dolly wrote it, but her version was first, and best.
IIIIIIIiiiiiiiiIIIIIIIIIIIiiiiiiiiiIIIIIII..
Will always
Love YOUUUUUuuuuuuUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!

I’m sorry. But that song gets on my dman nerves.
(And I don’t care who sings it.)
The image I get is...
“I rill aww rays wruv you”
Can’t help it. Can’t change it.
Dolly wrote it when she broke up her singing partnership with Porter Wagoner - not a romantic relationship. I can’t stand Whitney’s version with the screaming and melisma.
Wow, he’s good.
You taught me a new word. Thanks.
I’d like to hear his voice with far less reverb added.
Am I the only one that thinks sounding like Whitney Houston is not a plus? I cannot bear to listen to that style of singing.
Saw him 2 weeks ago singing Amazing Grace. He is on again tomm. night
Same here. Makes my ears hurt.

I hate the song but a short chubby Taiwanese guy busting out a perfect Whitney Houston is a must see.
I don't listen to it.
Thanks. I had turned it in late and missed the beginning of it.
