We’re part of the country, whether we agree with the government or not. If the country suffers the judgement of God we will be affected also.

When a Muzzie nuke EMP blows out our electrical grid, will my house be spared because I support Israel, while my next-door neighbor suffers because he voted for Bam-bam? Or will I suffer the same consequences because I live in this country? Which of those two seems more likely to you?
Unfortunately, Pharoah’s actions resulted in wrath pouring down on many good, G-d fearing, Egyptians.
I was reminded of that recently during Passover, and it always troubles me greatly, and I thank those innocent children for their sacrifice.
If you are an American you share the karma of America. What our government does creates karma for America. Karma is infallible and inevitable.

Sadly he does speak for our country and I believe examples can be found throughout the Bible of countries punished for the deeds of their leaders...
