Those in denial of the obvious, and those who fear political correctness and sensitivity backlash, will not admit that black athletes, celebrities, etc., over-whelmingly endeavor to land the female white blonde arm-candy as a conquest. VERY FEW of the opposite is true, where a white male seeks the black female in contrast.
Please enlighten me as to why the disparity, and WHY black men seek the white women as in the phrase "where da white women at?".

There have been whole books written on this. Many black guys like white woman. Call it the forbidden fruit, or whatever. And, far fewer white guys like black woman. And of course it takes two to tango. SO, we can also say that many white woman are attracted to black men, and fewer black woman are attracted to white men. (Although, I think there is a sizable number of black woman over age 25 or so who have given up on black men and want to date white men.) So, yeah, I agree that a lot of black athletes like white woman. As long as the woman are choosing to go with them, who's business it it but theirs?

Most athletes see the white blonde as a trophy, a way to say “I’m so important that I can get a girl who looks like a PLAYBOY centerfold.” Blacks seem to buy into the same mentality but they’re okay with getting nominally attractive white blondes or even pudgy white blondes if they can’t attract anyone who looks more like a centerfold.
I’ve seen it many times - a relatively handsome black male walking down the street with a fat white blonde woman. Apparently, this is the best he felt he could get on the playmate-wannabe scale and she’s just happy to have anyone who doesn’t look as dumpy as she does.
It’s all very shallow which explains why the relationships often don’t last very long.

But interestingly many blacks hold that position. In fact the local head of the NAACP here in Vancouver, Washington said so in a newspaper article about a year back.
One cynical definition of a conservative is someone who is 20 years behind liberals. In this case it seems to be a pretty accurate definition. Libertarian/Conservatives would say that one's loyality is to oneself, and if a inter-racial marraige will make you happy you should do it. Traditionalist/Conservatives would say that their are negative repercussions that go beyond the individual, that include the family, culture and race. Part of being a conservative is understanding that you are bound by your societies traditons, and that there are probably good reasons for a lot of restrictions placed on individual behavior.
Mostly FR is sort of neo-con oriented. Part of the liberal stuff that the neo-cons had internalized before moving into the conservative camp was the liberal view of the unimportance of race, the illegitimacy of deciding things based on it, particularly for the white majority.
Many Jews, of course, are quite blatent about disaproving of intermarraige. There are entire charities set up to prevent Jewish intermarraige, and the children of such unions are often shunned. If the mother is not Jewish, they are not considered Jewish.
One thing that whites deciding to have children with blacks must consider is that their children will be considered black by society, will likely consider themselves black, and so consequently may well attach much more importance to the other parent and the black side of the family, and finally the kids will look more like the black parent than the white.
People don't think about those things when they are 19 or 20, which is why society has had some rules for them to follow.
To take our most famous mulatto, Obama, it is amazing that he considers himself black (he checked only the black box on his census form), he wrote a book about his dad (who was never in his life) and seems to reject the white family that raised him. You see this frequently: Halle Berry comes to mind.
Imagine the sadness of that for those parents.
But there are more white guys. Hmm intersting comment. I think what you are saying make sense. Let say to make the math easy there are 200 men & women, & 20 of each are black. Lets say that 1/4 of each group is interested in inter-racial dating. So you have 5 black guys going after 20 white woman. They are likely to have some success. Meanwhile, you have 20 white guys going after 5 black woman. They are less likely to have success.
So perhaps black guys do better at cross-racial dating and stick with it, and white guys get rubuffed and give up?

Amen, amen, amen. Men in a society act in the way women in the society allow them to act. If women keep their legs closed for a long while after meeting a guy, the cheating epidemic goes away. With large numbers of twentysomething women behaving like they're nothing more than penis receptacles, this is what you get. As I said on another thread, thanks to the women's movement, here we are.

Read an interesting article in I believe National Review about 20 years ago that dealt with the interracial question. It stated that generaly that males are ranked in masculine qualities with black men 1st and Asian men last. While in feminity that Asian women were first and Black women last. White men and women were ranked in the middle. Because of this Black women had a harder time finding mates, and also Asian Men (in the US) had the same problem. The author stated the solution would be for Asian men to date Black women.

You miss my point: the racism of blacks is ignored, always, and hate crimes, racism, etc. are ALWAYS eagerly slapped onto white male heterosexuals. The double standard is alive and well, and if people want to seek inter-racial partners, that's their business....it's a charachter thing, in my book, but the racism is ignored.

Please note I did not at any point say that I agree with the older position, I was just explaining what I see as the difference between the older conservative position opposed to inter-racial marraige and the more modern one that accepts it.
If I say that “not long ago most conservatives were against inter-racial marragie” that is simply a fact. In 1963 I believe the “Loving vs. Virginia” case was decided. It is the equivilent of saying that “not long ago homosexuality was considered a mental illness”.
