I've had a license to conceal carry for years and years and continue to renew it every year.

But I never carry because I work on a military base where contractors aren't allowed to bring guns and I'm on call 24/7.

So if I'm out running errands and get called in to work I can't stop and drop my pistol off at home - I have to immediately go in to work.

I HATE this! I'm blessed with a job that I enjoy with good pay and decent benefits but I can't carry my pistol onto a military base.

Since I picked up a nice pocket holster for my Taurus 709 Slim 9mm I'm never more than a second or two away from being able to put seven rounds of 115 grain Speer Gold Dot in the center of mass of any gang banger. I. Would. Not. Hesitate.
