Police say a car bomb has exploded outside a British Army barracks in Northern Ireland.
The blast was behind Palace Barracks in Holywood, Belfast, at 12.24am and is described as "ongoing".
Reporting from the scene, Sky's Ireland correspondent Vicky Hawthorne said: "Police are not confirming this but there are unconfirmed reports of some injuries on the ground.

How do you know it’s not the IRA?
I thought the IRA was out of business, or is this some other terrorist group?
What was worse was seeing them but the worst was when a policeman and a policewoman got blown up and one had their legs hanging off and another with half their brains on the floor.
It was a Saturday night and it happened about 11.00pm in Newry, the nightclubs and bars came out and there were riots.
Later that night we had to guard the hospital and some rioters tried to get in the place, they were like animals, no respect for life at all.
The IRA gets their backing from the poor areas (derrybegs, barcroft estates etc) and believe me the way they tell their children about what is what is disgusting.
Nice respectful people walking by wishing us take care but trying to not move their lips or look at us for fear of being seen.

Yes, I remember the reports that they didn’t receive funds after 9/11.

My wife form MA said that they came to pubs saying money for political prisoners but she never gave as her father an irish man himself knew what was what about them
I say this as from experience seeing and dealing with them for nearly two years and knowing them first hand
exactly why they did the bank job as they were without money and then came the peace treaty so to speak.
Many give Bush credit for his stance on muslim terrorism but he also clamped won on them too and which saved many lives.
