NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) -- Kennedy cousin Michael Skakel lost his bid for a new trial in the 1975 slaying of his 15-year-old neighbor when the state Supreme Court on Monday rejected his appeal that cited a claim implicating two other men.

The court ruled 4-1 against Skakel's request.

Skakel - a nephew of Robert Kennedy's widow, Ethel - was sentenced to 20 years to life in prison in 2002 for fatally beating Martha Moxley with a golf club in 1975 in a wealthy Connecticut suburb

Mark Fuhrman deserves the lion’s share of the credit for putting Skakel in jail. His book about this case was fantastic (in fact, all of his books to date!). Fuhrman was unfairly painted as a racist during the dog and pony show that was the O.J. trial. His work in this matter brought justice for the Moxley family.

I'd love to see Fuhrman do a similar investigative study of George Soros.

The things that would be revealed would truly be "stranger than fiction", IMO.

Skakel’s big mistake
Was to use a five-iron,
Instead of a car...

To follow form it should read:

Skakel’s big mistake
Was to use a five-iron,
Instead of an Oldsmobile...

SpikeTV recently re-ran the original Unsolved Mysteries piece on this case from the early 90’s. Absolutely made my blood boil! The Skakel family just went to ground and quit cooperating with investigators, apparently on the advice of their attorney! They tortured this girl’s family for decades.

I wonder if Skakel is the only Kennedy who climbs trees and then plays with himself? That’s probably another part of the Kennedy “legacy”.

The Kennedy family seems to be having a bad year. Good.

Guess uncle Teddy forget something before he left this earth? It’s such a shame that anyone would actually have to pay for the crime they did! *sarcasm*

"The Kennedy's must be so proud. "

I guess that part of what they are proud of is, that as of yet and even with all of their various crimes, no one with actual Kennedy blood in their veins has done time in prison. Skakel is only related to them by marriage.

Think he would live to finish it? Even US Senators don't dare to go down that road.

Well, fate has a way of evening things out. They have done their time underground and after that, eternity away from the sight of God.
