Video - Obama: "Whether We Like it Or Not, We Remain a Dominant Military Superpower"
Youtube ^ | Wednesday April 14, 2010

Here is video of President Obama today at a news conference closing his "Nuclear Security Summit," where he made the odd statement that "whether we like it or not, we (United States) remain a dominant military superpower, and when conflicts break out, we get pulled into it."

Whether we like it or not?

Does that mean President Obama does not like America being a "dominant military superpower?"

It must really suck to be the leader of the one country you really, really hate!

Everyday, I feel the coming of "Reagan the 2nd". When Americans can once again wave their flag proudly.

End the Reign of Carter the 2nd.

“It’s always good to be at the top of the food chain.”

Sure, but Power = Capabilities x Intentions. Having the best military and weapons is worthless if they are sidelined by a “leader” who preemptively declares we will not use them even against countries that do really bad stuff etc. Similarly, even “threats” by a superpower carry little weight if the “leader” issuing them is perceived as too timid to carry them out. A tiger is fearsome: a paper tiger, not so much.

When Russia is bold enough to break the piece and attack the Middle East as written in the Bible for the end times, you now see how the become so bold.

My take on it is - that he was saying in an awkward way - because we are a super power we get pulled into other wars whether we like it or not.

(it galls me to say that I understood what he meant)

He should hsve said ‘whether we are grateful for that or not’.

What a complete idiot this guy is. I hope his dodge of the press on SUnday means that he has some trouble brewing on the horizon. I fully expect Articles of Impeachment to be filed sometime after the November elections for SOMETHING that this guy is hiding. And I believe he is hiding a lot. While we’ve been busy playing ‘whack-a-mole’ fighting his agenda on all fronts, he, too, has his own version of the game going...to keep tamping down little geysers of his prior actions...and he can’t cover all of them up forever.

Quite a stunning thing for an American to say, much less a POTUS.

This disloyal, citizen-of-the-world B.S. is making Jimmy Carter’s administration look good.

Sure he can, since the press is 100% behind him.

Anything negative simply will NOT be reported. Listen to the news... EVERY news report starts off with orgasmic newsbabe, gushing about the latest and greatest takeover from our Weasel-In-Chief.

Good ammo for the next presidential election.

He’s a total a**hole. I wish he would resign and move to some other country that isn’t a dominant superpower.
