SHANGHAI—At least 400 people were killed and thousands more injured when a severe earthquake struck a poor and predominantly Tibetan community in a remote part of western China, flattening schools and homes and trapping victims in the rubble.

I saw one about a Tibet quake. Search has it’s issues and it’s not in breaking.
Apparently there more more quakes in China over night.

Am I just an old fart that does not recall hearing about so many disasters in my long-gone youth, or are we simply more open internationally, that I hear of so many more disasters now?
