Speaking at a Democratic fundraiser tonight, President Obama touted his administration’s tax cuts and said that the recent tea party rallies across the nation have “amused” him.
“You would think they should be saying thank you,” the president said to applause.
The president’s 30-minute speech included a lot of recycled material from previous fundraisers.
In a nod to Vice President Biden, the president acknowledged the crowd for their help getting health care reform across the finish line.
“As my vice president said, 'This is a big deal,'" Obama said to laughter, even though he omitted the one key word to that infamous quote from his No. 2. "And he was right."
That earned the president a “Go Joe Biden!” from a man in the crowd.

He didn’t cut taxes, he played with the witholding tables, which has come as a shock to many of his followers when they find out they were underpaying and had a bill this year.. NO actual tax rate cuts have taken place since he has been in office.

Looked to me like even those who got a stimulus check last year had to deduct it from a tax credit on their tax form. So it was just a short term advance of their own money.

The thing that caught my eye in the article was that Floridians elected Ted Deutch, a Dem, to Congress in a special election. As Obama noted, it is a Democrat district. Tea Party Patriots of all stripes need to recognize that a vote for any Democrat is a vote to keep Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House and/or Harry Reid as Senate Majority Leader. We have seen, through Bart Stupak, that there is no such thing as a conservative Democrat.
He is not cracking up. He is telegraphing his hand. He hates Americans. He even hates those over here that voted for him and kiss his ass on a daily basis.
He is amusing himself andwaiting for when it is time for him to make his next move.
Not too subtle attempt by Obama at diversion in trying to demagogue the discussion to a single point in time when the are protests take into account the future as well.

You are exactly right! People in my office were dancing when they got their ‘tax cut’ in their check last year. I told them that unless the tax tables are changed, they will owe it all back come tax time. Sure enough, I have talked to folks who went from ‘refunds’ last year to owing $3000 additional federal tax!
My VP- Does Biden realize that Obama thinks he owns him? Obama truly thinks he owns just about everything.
