Except Amish and muslims won't have to pay for it or be fined and jailed when they don't. I really should claim I'm an Amish illegal.
Finally, IMHO, the 'real' cost - the exceptionally grave damage being done to America by illegals is to its spirit, morality, ethics and 'citizenship'. Allowing these leeches to remain here damages all these. Go the hell home and don't let the door hit you in the ass!
Illegals cost taxpayers tons of money- individual employers make a larger profit hiring illegal workers but taxpayers get hosed for the cost of them being in this country. Amnesty will greatly add to the cost to the taxpayer because many more will qualify for benefits.
A big concern- businesses that hire illegals do so because they can pay them less money- save on benefits and illegals will tolerate unsafe or otherwise terrible working conditions. If illegals are given amnesty/citizenship then the benefits to the employer of hiring illegals will vanish. The new citizen former illegal will seek better employment and you guessed it the employers of illegals will need more illegals. Amnesty does not solve problems, it creates more.
Where is ‘Captain Obvious’??
Meanwhile, in their hometown of Chicago, this is what is going on.

El Financiero 4-14-10 Immigrants in Illinois meet with Mexican Congressmen
Chicago, Illinois 4-13-10 - A group of immigrants in Illinois met with Mexican Congressmen to ask for more political rights of Mexicans who live abroad.
The committee composed of Mexican community members of the Coalition of Mexican Migrants for Political Rights, had the objective to meet with legislators charged with the responsibility for Mexican Migrant rights. One of the projects proposed by Representative Noemi Reynoso is to reform Mexican elections law in order to give more rights to Mexicans living abroad. The second proposition set forth by Representatives Francisco Rojas Gutierrez and Emilio Chuayaffet of the PAN Party is to create a 6th Congressional District composed of Mexicans living abroad in order to represent the expatriate community in the Mexican Congress.
The immigrants are seeking major participation in the decision making process in both houses of the Mexican legislature.
They also proposed immigration reform to protect human rights of migrants in transition from Mexico and their return (to the USA) in a sincere plea to the Government of the United States.
Campaign for social justice launched in the United States
Chicago, 4-12-10 El Fuente Unidos de Inmigrantes, a community organization composed mainly of Mexicans in Illinois, agreed to launch a campaign for social justice from April 12 to October 12 of this year.
The campaign is to benefit more than 40 million Mexicans and other Latinos who live in the United States. They will be briefed and educated about the truth of their circumstances and origins and forming coalitions dedicated to education, immigration, health and labor rights.
The campaign will conclude with a proclamation titled Paro Nacional Latino; (Latino National Roll of the Dice, which loosely translates to National Latino Gamble) demanding no more immigration arrests, and deportation, said Carlos Arango, President of El Fuente Unidos de Inmigrantes.
During a discussion of immigration reform, the group rejected the legislative proposals of Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill), Barack Obama, Democrat Charles Schumer and Republican Lindsey Graham.
Arango explained that the immigration reform bill sponsored by the congressmen and President Obama criminalizes undocumented workers under the pretext of national security. They also will not legitimize the figure of 12 million undocumented Mexicans in the United States, according to Arango. The true number of this community is more than 40 million people who are subject to the same discrimination and marginalization of our civil, human and economic rights, explained Arango. The consensus of the meeting agreed that President Obama bears the responsibility for separation of families, deportations, persecutions of immigrants and deaths on the border.
We clearly state that Secretary of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano has an anti-immigrant history as Governor of Arizona and that she has worsened the circumstances of the undocumented worker, stated Arango.
The community leaders regret that after the marches of 2006, they gave the majority vote to the Democrats, which put President Obama in office, and have received nothing but promises in return.
We are well aware that the conditions dont exist in Congress to approve a humane and just immigration reform bill and that Republicans just want to fracture the Immigration Reform bill and Obamas Health Care bill at the expense of immigrants. We, and our families, are not money that can be spent, said Arango.
The Union also agreed to launch a national movement in Arizona to help immigrants and to help in the campaign against Sheriff Joe Arpaio and that he (The Sheriff) is the reason for the rise in the deaths of migrants in the Arizona desert who are just looking for a safe place to reside.
You forgot the mandatory “interpreters” in the courts—the hospitals—doctor offices—schools-etc. That has dramatically increased the cost of your health care.
You forgot the printing of ballots in a number of languages other than English-—see Los Angeles and other So Calif locations to verify this.
You forgot the impact of having your English speaking kid in a school class where the majority do not speak English-—so the speed of going thru the lessons all semester is slowed to a crawl. (In Reno a couple of years back a father took his daughter to 4th grade class and was stunned to learn that she was the ONLY white English speaking member of her class. He spoke about it on a local talk show, and said he was going to go over the family budget and get her into a private school somehow-someway ASAP.)
You forgot the cost of judicial events- all the way from finding the illgal who is the perp to prosecution to incarceration. ICE doesn’t even call the Sheriff back.
You forgot the increase of needed LEO’s to deal with the illegals who are criminals.
You forgot the cost of tension & distrust those of us who live rural have when a strange vehicle enters the yard. The families who ranch on our southern borders are beyond being impacted. I keep my shotgun closer than ever bafore and I live rural.
You forgot the increase of gang activity that brings down an entire area, and that destroys a normal single family community. Value of homes decreases, property taxes go down, and insurance companies don’t want to take clients in these areas. Your insurance premiums keep going up because of these kinds of community cancer.
You forgot the impact of the drugs and other dealings that increase the crime in your once decent family neighborhood and turn it into a hellhole. Your kids get shot inside their homes in their beds, thru the walls.
You forgot..........
Two years ago the Heritage Foundation and Senator (I can’t remember his name)estimated the costs to taxpayers from illegal immigration was $60,000,000,000 per year.
I would imagine that, given the enormous influx of illegals in the last two years, it is probably closer to $80 billion. This includes medical care, education, all levels of law enforcement, prison costs, government entitlement programs and the like.
The number of dead voters is not increasing fast enough. Giving amnesty to illegals will boost the voter pool.
If they were to declare asset forfeiture a possibility for employers of illegals those numbers would be reversed to positive within 2 years.
The threat of jail or arrest is not enough because business owners have lawyers that arrange things to help keep their client from getting caught, provide lengthy trial proceedings and if that does not work they end things with a payout. They HAVE the money to do so from all those years of paying illegals under the table while still collecting full dollar for whatever it is they provide to the consumer.
Start asset forfeiture proceedings of company assets and property and hit them where it hurts.
