This is an updated list of Tax Day Tea Party attendence. If you attended an event that is not on the list, please add your totals in this thread and I'll update later.

Also, please ping any contacts who may have been to a Tea Party that is not on this list.

I know that I'm missing several (including DC!).

Current totals: 53 cities, total attendence 111,345.

St. Augustine, Florida, schedued for tomorrow, keep the list open. We hope to pull in more people on a Saturday, including a lot of the tourists now in town.

Where are these numbers coming from? The media or Freepers who were there?

Greensboro, NC - 2000 officially.

Although I think the number was closer to 2500 or 3000. But that's just my opinion.

Yesterday’s estimate for Chicago (2 events) was 7-9 K. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

Remember these numbers would be alot higher had it been a weekend.. So if the left says we failed remember we did not.

Yes. Also, they were spread out over hundreds of cities which is why it’s important to get a total. The national media won’t care about the small towns, and the small town media won’t care about what’s going on in neighboring towns.

So I think it’s important to do this. And don’t forget that not every town that had a tea party will have FReeper in it so we’ll miss a lot of them.

I’ve been to every tea party I could get to including DC and Richmond. Yesterday I couldn’t go because of a money making opportunity that I desperately needed. I’m sure that plenty of others ran into a similar situation.

Today’s paper says there were approximately 3,000, although I heard it as many as 5,000 at the Olympia, Washington Tea Party.
