McCain is that proverbial crack in the toilet seat that you invariably have at least once in your home ownership. You see it, you know it's there, but you just never seem to grab a new, better one at Home Depot or Lowe's. Not until the bastard pinches your ass severely once, that is.

Get rid of his tired fake-conservative ass, Arizona! You'll feel better for it (so will we!).

“If it weren’t for Palin’s radio ads, McCain would be dead meat by now, instead it is nearly a dead heat. “

I was being generous, but for the life of me, I don’t know why. Palin has palpably damaged J.D., thus far.

If McCain squeaks this out, it is all on Palin’s shoulders.

All those other great "conservative" politicians who didn't endorse JD will also share some of the blame.

That’s not violent... I speak from personal experience. That pinch from that seat hurts like a ...well, you can guess what I’d say next.

Great news, JD keeps narrowing the margin. Another amnesty push looks certain after Memorial Day.

Anyone living in Arizona who could give us a rundown on how this campaign seems to be playing out in the state: what ads are running on radio and TV, what people are saying, etc.

Conventional wisdom says any incumbent below 50% is in trouble.

It is if you make statements in your “non endorsement” such as “JD would make a fine Senator” or “Obviously, my views are more aligned with JDs” or “JD’s a great guy”.

The fact that a colleague does not endorse a sitting politicians speaks volumes. And it does not say the same thing as running ads and making appearances praising the “maverick” RINO.

Considering what Juan has done in his career, JD should be winning by at least 80%-20%.

I have long since lost faith in my fellow Republicans

Palin has been doing daily McCain ads all over Arizona every day for a couple of weeks. Mostly on Limbaugh and Hannity shows.

Hayworth started his new radio ad yesterday, and it is excellent!! Hard hitting, but not mean.

It is if you make statements in your “non endorsement” such as “JD would make a fine Senator” or “Obviously, my views are more aligned with JDs” or “JD’s a great guy”.

I can think of one great conservative from Minnesota who when asked about the race, praised both JD and McNut equally.

The fact that a colleague does not endorse a sitting politicians speaks volumes.

Actively endorsing and campaigning for JD speaks more volumes.

And it does not say the same thing as running ads and making appearances praising the “maverick” RINO.

I never said it was the same thing. As I did say, sucking half as bad shouldn't be an option.
