Armageddon? 'Ball of light' streaks across sky
WND ^ | 15 April, 2010 | WND

Armageddon?

Not yet, many fervently hope.

Last night, only two weeks after President Obama publicly ridiculed conservatives across America by explaining how after signing health-care reform into law he looked up to check whether an asteroid was streaking through the sky...

One apparently whizzed across the central United States shorty after Obama's comments. I thought at the time that he (Obama) is not ridiculing conservatives as much as he is ridiculing God.

Not “his” God...that would be allah, and he has no trouble ridiculing ours. I’m surprised he is recognizing the day of prayer, which he feels is fine as long as he can bow on some prayer rug.

One time around December 15th I was driving at night away from cities and a GIANT ball of light, like as big as a baseball (like I was holding it) streaked across the sky. I called my parents telling them we were all about to die, but nothing happened. When something burns up in the atmosphere, it’s a big light show but usually nothing will even make it to Earth.

But if aliens are coming to attack us because they hate Obama, then we finally know what we’ve long suspected: aliens are racist.

How could anyone here not know by now who and what Obama is. He has no religion! He's a communist. His Black Liberation Theology "church" is bogus. BLT is a revolutionary communist movement that uses concocted religions to advance the communism.

We looked at the several videos posted on the Intenet last night. Does anyone else see what looks like two missiles coming at the “fireball” from two different directions? We played the videos over and over, and it looked very strange—almost like whatever it was was shot down.

I’m not trying to be paranoid; that’s just what it looked like to us.

I saw the fireball. We were on our way home from church. The fireball looked like a bright star, then it enlarged and got very bright with a strange glow. Then it exploded and made a giant boom. The whole sky lit up. It was surreal.

The “missiles” are airliners. You can see their navigation strobe lights blinking before the meteor flares, and when the meteor flare lights up the sky the contrails of the airliners are visible.

Meteors have showed up a lot more often than "The End Times Are Here!" chickens-little have been correct.

And since WND=POS, this story is even more unbelievable.

"Not “his” God"

I suspect "his" God is evil incarnate or nonexistent.

When I was very young, my father carried me outside on a cold winter night to view a similar fireball that lasted for several minutes. It turned night into day.

Just something for you to consider. You might get into the Book of Daniel and read what happened to King Nebucanezzer when he openly mocked God.

The God of creation (that would be the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob btw) is very clear on what happens to evil and he’s been absolutely consistent throughout history. And he’s very clear about what will happen in the end days:

II Peter 3 & 4 KJV
“Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, and saying Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.”

Whether Christ returns tomorrow or whether it’s 10 years from now is not known, one thing for certain: He is coming back; first for the Rapture of the Church and then again to rid this world of the evil and then after His reign on earth one final battle ensues: Armageddon

Whether you choose to believe or not doesn’t change what will happen. I hope you consider that before mocking those of us that see the signs as written in the Bible. And I hope you will reconsider your position because after the Rapture, the Tribulation starts...God’s wrath.

I'm openly mocking WND and its continual stream of dreck. Unless Joe Farah is God, I think I'm on pretty safe ground.

WND is a sensationlist online rag. I would agree with you on that, but in this particular instance, the article is not just rhetoric. We have a Godless leader openly mocking God and His people but it is not going to be with repercussions. God is clearly warning. I believe the intensity & frequency of these things is going to only increase (they already have).

That must’ve been breathtaking to see!

It’s good that most meteorites burn up before making landfall, or we would have meteor disasters all the time, instead of awesome sky shows.

Our friend, Tom, and older fellow who used to work in missile defense/guidance systems had this to say:

“These events are generally much smaller than they appear. The rate of consumption of the material in an earthbound object is huge. For even a small object the size of a golf ball or baseball, when consumed so totally in such a short time, an enormous amount of light, and/or sound, is emitted.
To be honest, I feel like any large foreign object would leave MUCH more debris and resultant damage to the impact area, if only the size of a basketball (made of a solid material).
I don’t remember if I told you that I was involved with lifting ICBMs from Utah and firing them back into the atmosphere over Texas. Then, the war heads were fired, accelerating then to an even greater velocity.
NO ONE EVER complained to anyone about the Fire-balls, since there were none. In other words, the velocities were too small to create enough friction to consume them.
My Thoughts!! Debris will be found miles from the apparent position of the object and will be of “outer space type material”, consistent with Solar system materials.”

Sorry, R9, but you’re dead-wrong about World Net Daily. Of course, you can believe as you will, but your “hatred” of WND just tells me that you are anti-Christian.

There’s truth in the world that can be known, but most people never know it or even seek it.
