Now that it is plainly evident even prominent officials in Kenya believe Barack Obama is foreign born, it becomes a matter of historical accuracy and constitutional integrity that his life story be fully documented.

Long before Obama was elected president and ever since, the people of Kenya have spoken of him as one of their own. Even first lady Michelle Obama referred to her husband's "home country" as Kenya during the campaign. And now we have James Orengo, a member of the Kenyan Parliament explicitly characterizing Obama as one "born in Kenya."

sorry ,but in Hawaii the hospitals DO NOT place birth announcements in newspapers and never have. The announcements are either placed by the parents or if they child’s birth has been registered with the state Health records then they placed it. Birth in a Hawaian hospital(or even in Hawaii) was not required to register a child in Hawaii in 1961. The only way to vertify if a child was actually born in Hawaii in 1961 would be to obtain a copy of the CERTIFIED certificate of birth(long form) containing hospital and doctor information. obama will never allow a copy to be released because it would certify that his father was a kenyan national and make him inelgible to be president under Article 2 of the Constitution. Congress has the right to void obama’s election ,but they never will.

You are quite wrong. Hospitals don’t put paid birth announcments in the newspapers. Paid birth announcements are put in the news papaers by ANYONE WHO PAYS FOR THEM — uusually family members. The newspapers do not fact check the paid birth announcements.

Has anyone in WH press asked Gibbs whether Mr. Orengo is lying about this matter? When there are publicly-made claims that conflict with one another, doesn’t the public have a right to know what is true about their president? I’d love to hear Gibbs’ explanation of how Mr. Orengo would have “misspoken” on such a matter: confused? senile? venal? misinformed?

True, but in this case, these were not paid birth announcements. See post #24 for a good description of how these came to be published. If you check the 2 newspapers’ listings, they are identical in content and listing order. This suggests the papers were simply re-printing a list distribution by DOH of births occurring during the past week or whatever.

We now have David Ramsays writings, a founding father, who documented NBC as the child of two US citizens at birth.

Game, set, match, Obama is clearly not an NBC. He is a one term president. The MSM gave him enough cover to get him one term. But he isn't getting a second.

One point that seems a bit obvious but I’ll say it anyway.

If you had said “Bush wasn’t an American” or “Clinton wasn’t an American” or “Nixon wasn’t an American” - people would have yawned.

If you say “Obama isn’t an American” you better be prepared for the machine to come down on your head because that is what is going to happen.

Because it is self-evident that Nixon and Bush were natural born citizens. Their past history was utterly and completely transparent.

ARMIES of citizens ( a very high standard for evidence) would have testified that:

**They personally knew the parents and their history.
** They visited the mom and new baby in the hospital or home soon after birth.
** They attended the Christening.
** They were personal witnesses to the growth and development of the baby as he grew to maturity.

Obama can not present even one citizen who can testify to his natural born status. Since he does not have this high standard of having citizens that can testify to his natural born status, then it is REASONABLE to request that he provide the lesser standard of evidence of a **certified** paper trail.

I am 63 years old, and there are still people alive and well who would be honored to testify that I am, indeed, a natural born citizen.

An honest man would be **HONORED** to promptly prove with all of the best certifiable evidence that he is a natural born citizen and eligible to be president.

So?...Why doesn't Obama do that? It is a simple matter for him to nod his head to his secretary and have this settled within the week. Only a guilty man would hesitate to do this.

Funny you mention Nixon. His running mate and Vice President, Spiro Agnew was born to an American mother and a Greek immigrant father who was not a U.S. citizen at the time of his birth.

And, yes, Vice Presidents need to meet the exact same standard of eligibility as do Presidents. I don't recall history debating Agnew's eligibility or concerned that he was born with dual citizenship. In fact, he spoke proudly of his immigrant roots throughout the campaign.

That’s an unfortunate side effect of the modern practice, of electing the President and the Vice President on a “ticket.” Constitutionally speaking, there is no “ticket” but it’s provided cover for questionable eligibility on several occasions, most notably Chester A. Arthur.

Arthur became President when one of his own, crazed supporters, not incoincidentally a lawyer, shot and killed Garfield.

Agnew was forced to resign in disgrace.

Obama is one of the most controversial and divisive figures, if not the most contoroversial figure, in the White House of all time.

Do you sense a trend, with those who scam their way into the Executive branch, with questionable allegiance to the Constitution and to The People?
