President Lech Kaczynski and his beloved wife Maria will rest tommorow in the Wawel Castle in Krakow - the final resting place of Poland’s medieval kings and national heroes - the heart of Poland - close to Jozef Pilsudski (the leader of pre-war Poland).

Excellent photos, very tasteful resting place. Eternal rest grant unto them, O LORD, and let light perpetual shine upon them.

What a sad, sad thing. But a wonderful show of love and respect.

I don’t think you’ll have a chance to see it in your media. And I want to share with you the spirit of today’s Poland.

And I think the pictures I’ve posted show it - at least in some part.

My mother’s parents came to the United States from Poland.

The Poles are some of the most courageous, steadfast people in the world. They deserve some peace. May it be forthcoming.

He was a small man physically but a very large man in courage, determination, and love for his country. May he and his Maria rest in peace in this sanctuary of Polish history.

Thank you Lizol for your pictures.
