Would anyone who understands Polish tell us please, what we are seeing — and where this is taking place?

I do not speak any Polish at all.
What you were seeing is the standard Roman Catholic Mass in Polish.
They are now heading to the burial site.
Those were old Roman Catholic songs, most of them in Latin.
Is this the Mass for Ryszard Kaczorowski?

Meantime; given Obama could not make flight; you would think that this ONE Sunday; Obama could show up for Service somewhere; where Poland's tragedy is being acknowledged in prayer.
At the moment they’re heading to the Wawel Royal Castle - were the late President and the First Lady will find their eternal rest - in the Royal crypts.

This is the funeral of Lech Kaczynski and his wife Maria.
Ryszard Kaczorowski was the last President of Poland in exile (until 1990). He also died in the crash, but he’ll be buried tommorow in Warsaw.

The service, that is being conducted at the moment is the part of the funeral, that usualy takes place at the grave-site.
The reason is, that only the relatives and the Archbishop of Krakow Cardinal Dziwisz will go to the proper crypt.
I take it the crypt is below?
