Big Hollywood ^ | April 18, 2010 | Brian Cherry

Posted on 04/18/2010 12:27:02 PM PDT by EveningStar

...The left can’t compete in the Christian market. Let’s face it, the folks who declare Robert Mapplethorpe “art” simply have no credibility in that particular market. With that said, Country is a family friendly format they still think they have a chance of corrupting, and Miley Cyrus may be their perky little Trojan horse into that industry...

She is a kid hanging out with the H-wood types. Being brainwashed as we speak.

There are plenty of underdressed females in country music already, and many of them are better vocalists and/or prettier than Miley Cyrus. I doubt she’d make an impact for long, if at all.

Maybe her and her worthless Father can go the Ricky Nelson route.

Hahaha, my father was old-school country. He’d say they corrupted country years and years ago when it started to sound like pop music and the guys started wearing supertight jeans. He’d even say Willie Nelson was a hippie.

She doesn’t like country music, so why would she bother with it when she’s probably doing okay in pop?

Now now. she is just a brainless kid.

I bet if anyone asked her how the leftist policies was effecting her bottom line (money) she wouldn’t know what they were talking about.

Near as makes no difference on the pole dance.

Country music is full of wrecked lives and lively scandal. Johnny Cash, anyone? Keith Whitley? Hank Williams? Trashy marriage breakups (Sara Evans, Leean Rimes), music about trashy breakups (Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert) ... casual immorality and drunk driving and vigilante justice.

If Miley Cyrus makes a run at the industry, her connections and name recognition will get her a shot, but unless she improves a lot, she’s not that good a vocalist and just not that interesting, so she’ll fade, like plenty of other cute young girls and cute young guys without anything to really distinguish them.

I have a feeling that Miley is quickly headed to that spot where she is no longer a teen idol and not talented enough to complete in the adult world of talent.

LOL...God forbid anyone like Miley disrupt the clean cut, morally straight country image so carefully cultivated over decades by the likes of David Allan Coe...

Not sure about that. Although Rick got his start on that cheesy TV show, the guy actually had some talent. He was much, much more talented than Miley Cyrus. He had some real rock and roll songs that were part of great era of Rock & Roll. He wasn't Elvis or Buddy but he was a damn site better and more talented than Fabian or Bobby Vee or any of the other Pop stars of that era. He was much better for his day than what Miley Cyrus is.

Cyrus is simply a Disney creation much in the same low talent region as Britney Spears. My nieces are finally at an age that they are discovering that the music they listened to 5-10 years ago was sure junk. It's an awakening for them. Miley Cyrus is a joke.

I barely know who Miley Cyrus is (I do have a 6 year old daughter), but in a general way, I am tired of the political views of popular music/entertainment folks being discussed. Who really cares what they think anyway? Just entertain us and shut up. As for scantily clad women, well that has been going on since Hee Haw in one way or another in country music.

However, if she comes out with her version of her dad’s “Achy Breaky Heart,” then she deserves to be villified!

She’s buying into the pervert HollyPuke and “music “industry” deviates siren songs, and is being morphed into just another skank that will be 50+ before her 21st birthday. Overexposed, and “used” up.

“Ohhhhh, sweet painted ladies...”

10 years from now, no one will remember her name, or want to.

She’ll end up as a judge on some reality show- if she’s lucky. If not, she’ll be a contestant on one of them.
