Because it was a significant act of terrorism that killed 184 Americans, including infants.

McVeigh was white and anti-government. YES.

That doesn’t mean that every white person who wants a limited federal government should shy away from this day, or seek to marginalize it.

ALL acts terrorism should be memordialize.
Even if they’re caused by an Army officer with a hatred of America.

I wonder if the press will mention McVeigh's partner Terry Nichols.

Or would that open a can of worms they'd rather leave sealed?

More than a few of secretly indulge in the fantasy that McVeigh was a hero. He was a stupid coward, but let’s examine it for what it was: a specific act of revenge for Janet Reno’s slaughter of the innocents at Waco. Comparisons with the Tea Party only reveal the mindless fear of the elitists. They should be reassured. The next revolution won’t be like the wanton looting and burning of the 60s, it won’t be like the Rodney King riots. It won’t be a pointless and counterproductive revenge bombing. Not to say that those kinds of things won’t happen, but they won’t be coming from successful middle class Americans. The next revolution will be bloodless. It will involve de-funding and purging liberal fascism from the media propaganda machine and the academia indoctrination machine. The government is going to choke on its own debt and its mangled mass of intertwining bureaucracy. No one has ever explained why Bill Clinton exposed all those innocent federal employees to danger by co-locating them with the ATF.
