I worked the DFW tea Party event as a volunteer , held at a minor league baseball park. I was out in centerfield at the stage and stayed behind after even ended to help clean up the area.
I picked up about a dozen bottles left by the media photogs at the edge of the stage. I then started from centerfield toward the stands to pick up any trash left by the thousands who sat on the grass.
There was not one piece of trash. NOT ONE
every attendee picked up their chairs flags banners and any bottles, trash they had.

It was amazing but not surprising.

Yep. On our way back to the car we spotted one sign left on the lawn. A friend of mine and me made a bee-line for it along with a couple of others all trying to get their first to pick it up. We heard people applauding as we picked it up. Won't see that at a lefty rally

Somebody needs to submit a FOIA request for the overtime records of the National Mall maintenance crew after any of the anti-war demonstrations, the Obama inauguration, and the million-plus Tea Party last September. I was at that one, and the trash was not only minimal; what trash that overflowed available cans was neatly piled next to the cans. The Park Service had in fact removed most of the trash cans so they could not be used for projectiles. Even so, Tea Partiers contained any discards on the Capitol grounds to a small area near a temporary anchor fence put there to control the crowd-- which didn't need controlling.

Exactly right!

But, it's not a matter if "will be tied directly or indirectly" or "might be tied indirectly". The "tea party" or any party that doesn't agree with liberals or progressives will always be directly or indirectly the cause for violence. That violence is almost always caused by democrats who go crazy at the mere mention of any republican or tea party position that directly contradicts the democrats' positions. It's almost always the intolerant left that preaches peace and harmony, but it's most times that intolerant left that uses violence and corruption and sleaze to get their way.
