I don't dislike Ron Paul, at least not as much as most here do.
But there's no question in my mind that the 32% who are "not sure", after a year-long campaign run by the MSM, would BE sure - that he was the devil himself.

The guy reminds me of Ernest T Bass from the old Andy Griffith show. Annoying little gnat that just won’t go away.

It is largely the result of the news media bias which has kept the American People dumbed down to the ideas Dr. Paul brings to the table.

Ron Paul is a joke.
He bought those votes at the SRLC.

Paul would have run rings around Obama.

Paul is like Perot all talk but no game. Earmarks, gold standard, fed reserve etc. etc. There are no players willing to cut social security how would he get any part of his agenda passed?

Yup. The only way social security is ending is when the checks start bouncing.

It is largely the result of the news media bias which has kept the American People dumbed down to the ideas Dr. Paul brings to the table. Like surrendering in Iraq and Afghanistan? Or blaming 9-11 on U.S. Mideast policy? How about accusing "neocons and those nasty "joos" for drumming up hostility against poor Iran? While some of Paul's other ideas have merit, he's off the charts on too many other issues.

Paul would have run rings around Obama. Maybe so, but he wouldn't have won the election. C'mon -- he never broke double digits with GOPers... how, pray tell, could he appeal to the rest of the country?

Polls show Newt Gingrich tied with Obama as well. The polls simple show that Obama has a current approval of 45%, with an equal number ready to vote for “somebody else”.
