Where in the article does it say the victim is an illegal?
Maybe the old beat up 57 Chevy in her driveway gave it away. or the fact that she keeps that much cash home.

I was the first to advance that. “Spanish speaking” and “in Salinas” = illegal.
The math:
- Population = 143,640
- “Hispanic” = 64.1% (~92073)
- “Foreign born” = 53,016
I say it’s more likely than not that if you speak Mexican as your main language in Salinas, you’re an illegal.
