WASHINGTON, D.C., April 20, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) - On Monday the Family Research Council Action PAC announced plans to target the districts of 20 Democratic incumbents who voted for President Obama's abortion-funding health care bill.
On the FRC Action website, the organization explains that the 20 targeted Democrats are those so called pro-life Democrats who seemed destined to heroism when they joined forces with Bart Stupak on a House bill that would have precluded any use federal dollars for abortion, but who caved under White House and Democrat leadership.
Rep. Bart Stupak had led a contingent of pro-life Democrats who said they would not vote for the federal health care bill, unless it included ironclad language against abortion funding. In the end, however, Stupak and his cohort made an 11th hour decision to vote for the bill in exchange for an Executive Order (EO) from President Obama, which purported to put up a wall against abortion funding. That EO, however, has been almost universally condemned by pro-life advocates as woefully inadequate.
"There are good reasons why organizations like ours decided to go the extra mile and create a political action committee as another arrow in its quiver," said Connie Mackey, President of FRC Action PAC. "The thousands of families that we represent are more energized than ever to replace these so-called 'pro-life' Democrats who voted for a health care bill that for the first time in three decades uses taxpayer funds for abortion on demand.
"As pro-life and pro-family voters, we must work together to change the Congress, state governments and ultimately the White House in 2012. We cannot afford to put hard earned dollars into campaigns of people who 'grow in office' or cannot see their way under the pressure of party politics. It's time to replace this Congress, repeal the government takeover of health care and restore our Constitutional freedoms.
Mackey concluded: "FRC Action PAC has spent many months researching those races we see as vulnerable and that will have pro-life, pro-family candidates to fill the void."
Following are the names and Districts of the targets for "20 in '10":

Is that all?
435!
Why not Allen Boyd in north Florida? He voted “no” on the first vote and then flipped to “yes” on the final vote. He likes to be considered a “blue dog.” I can’t understand why he isn’t on the list.
Ditto! Does Boyd have any serious GOP opposition?
Big time. There are several pubbies contending for the honor of bouncing his fat liberal ar$$e out.
Come to think of it, you’re absolutely right.
Nope. The GOP members that all voted against 0bamacare are keepers, provided that they continue to vote as conservatives should.
The 'throw them all out mentality' is a sure way to lose to the rats.
What about Joe Donnelly (D-IN)? He flipfloped his vote after the Stupak deal.
Good. I’ll send $$ to whomever the GOP nominee is. I’ll be living in this district in a couple of years.
It is my utmost hope and prayer that they are all without jobs in the fall.
Leave the group alone.
For reasons of their own, whether it be budget, staff, or desires to beam strategery and publicity according to guidelines of their own principles.....whatever their reasons, they're honing in on a nice little group of Dem bastards. Makes good sense to me!
There'll be other groups across the fruited plain aiming at other Dems in the DC socialist caucus who are up for re-election in November.
I suggest if you have a congresstraitor or a senator who needs to be bounced you head up your own targeted campaign, or ally yourself with a group or organization that's taking the lead.
One group can't do 250 congressmarxists, fer goodness' sake.
They get it.......isolate and attack!

Pass to your address book to help Babs in her re-election campaign.
What about Jerry McNerney - California’s 11th District. He needs to go!
Vote David Harmer in the Primary!
