Oh, but we all believe that zero is a natural born citizen, oh yes, yes. We just want everyone to show their birth certificate and clean up this mess. I had to show mine in order to get my passport. We really want zero to do this so that we can help him clear up all this confusion and protect his precious reputation. Doesn’t the AZ Dim state rep want to do that? Oooh, touchy, touchy subject.

These Dims are so afraid. Just like their fear of the 0bamacare court challenges. They can call us nuts, we will call them chicken.

In all honesty, this is the only way to get it done. More states need to pass laws like this - it’s just common sense.

Even if it were somehow miraculously proven now that Obama was not a legitimate president, who do you think would be able to remove him? Democrats would stomp any such move in the House and Senate, the military answers to him, and the DOJ would certainly be slow to act on any evidence. Besides, eligible or not, he WAS elected to the office - there would be a strong argument to be made about overturning the results of a lawful election.

You and I both know arguments can be made as to whether it was a lawful election, or if Obama exploited a loophole, but states passing SOLID laws requiring proof of Natural Born status can prevent this from happening in the future - and possibly prevent a second Obama term.

The question really is if Obama has so far resisted proving his status because no proof exists, or if he has a strategy to make his opponents look like racist morons when that proof suddenly, miraculously appears.

The Birther issue as it stands now is a losing hand only because Obama holds all the cards (although one with some evidence supporting it - statements from Hawaiian officials notwithstanding). Just rest assured the position will be vindicated if Obama is unable to provide that proof in 2012. Even if Arizona is the only state to enact this, him not being on the ballot will raise some eyebrows around the nation. Assuming, of course, that it even gets reported outside of the state.

And if he DOES provide proof, we can then ask him why he wasted hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars trying to avoid showing his birth certificate, and if he plans to repay that out of his own pocket.

This question needs to be put to rest, and this is a big, first step in doing that, and I applaude Arizona for its efforts in this regard.

Ditto.

If he is not on the ballot can they just ignore AZ and discount our vote?

He could but I don't think even Obama could withstand the scrutiny such an action would bring. I might be wrong of course, given the disgraceful non-vetting the major media did in the 2008 election.

Am I a Birther? Damn right I am. I believe in the rule of law and our Sacred Constitution. Obama has spit on both.

Obama, when are you going to free your Long Form Birth Certificate? The American Citizens expect you to honor our request. It IS a matter of Honor, Duty and Honesty.

Obama, why have you spent over $2 Million dollars to squash any inquiry about your Long Form Birth Certificate?

Obama, What are you Hiding and Why?

Obama, please read: "Silence can only be equated with fraud where there is a legal or moral duty to speak or where an inquiry left unanswered would be intentionally misleading." United States v Prudder, 424 F. 2d 1021(5thCir. 1970),cert. denied, 400 U.S. 831 (1970)

and Edwin Vieira, Constitutional Lawyer: "at the inauguration. . he's aware he's not a natural born citizen, then it's a perjured oath."

Obama, have you committed Fraud and Perjured yourself? No one is buying the fake certifications on the internet or an announcement in a paper. (which paper by the way). . So c'mon, man up!

This is the only reasonable activity to pursue. And it doesn’t need carrying on about revolutions and the like because it is perfectly legal and sane. Whether birthers are right or wrong, they can at least explain this in a credible manner to people.

I like it because if it leads to a Supreme Court battle, it would leave Administration hacks in the uncomfortable position of having to argue that it’s unconstitutional to uphold the constitution.

From what I understand the political parties vetted their predidential candidates. A check and balance to that was the media back in the day before media leaders were coopted by the left. You know, when reporters were journalist-Americans first—not demrat spokespeople. They wrote bios of all the candidates which always included their place of birth. That is a fact any self-respecting reporter would have checked back then.

In any case, the left simply decided that part of the Constitution foreign birth. It’s media lap dogs enabled them. It took a while before the question of Onada’s birth became more or less well known. By that time the man had already slithered into the WH. Then, too many conservative and Pubbie politicians decided to let it slide for fear of being called racist. Up to recently, Onada has been successfully avoiding a show down by flashing bogus documents that can’t be documented themselves. They they tried Alinsky tactics: Ignore the question and belittle the people and groups posing it. Not working. Thank God for the internet.

They will be trying the politics of personal and group destruction next. I mean, the Army attempted to make the lieutenant colonel who refused to be deployed undergo psychiatric evaluation. The classic and ultimate Marxist response to anyone who does not agree with them is psychiatric confinement, consignment to the Gulag and/or death. And it’s all happening right now in America.

” Arizona is looking better everyday. “

Even Mexico City doesn’t tolerate false birth certificates.
Dec 11, 2009 :
“ Rafael Acosta, the peddler-turned-politico whose maneuverings have captivated Mexico City for months, quit as president of its most populous borough Thursday amid allegations that he filed a false birth certificate when he ran.”

The birth certificate controversy had swirled for months around the popular left wing politician.
It was the Mexican media who led the investigation.

That’s an excellent way to summarize their position.

"Phoenix Democratic Rep. Kyrsten Sinema said the bill is one of several measures that are making Arizona "the laughing stock of the nation."

Which translates into the democratic party is shaking in their boots from fear that this will pass, and then catch on in other states.

Of course he has all the time in the world to create another bogus document and find “eyewitnesses”. It’s a good idea in and of itself but I don’t think it will stop Zero. Just too corrupt.

Just be aware, however, that any such laws must be carefully crafted to avoid placing additional state requirements on a Federal Office. They must also avoid trampling on the full faith and credit clause. That is, if they ask for documentation in excess of what Hawaii provides to its citizenry, that won’t stand up, either.
