Booby trap probe leads to Calif. raids, arrests

LOS ANGELES — The Southern California homes of dozens of white supremacists were raided Tuesday as part of a probe into a string of potentially deadly booby trap attacks targeting police officers, authorities said.

Federal and local officers converged on 35 homes and took 16 people into custody in Riverside County for a variety of crimes, including weapons, narcotics and parole violations, Hemet police Capt. Dave Brown said.

None of the arrests were directly related to the booby trap attacks that have plagued the small Hemet Police Department since New Year's Eve.

"But we hope some (arrests) will lead us to our suspects," Brown said.

District Attorney Rod Pacheco said everyone arrested was connected to white supremacist groups.

"They are upset with our aggressive posture against all gangs," Pacheco said. "White supremacist gangs have been very violent, especially toward law enforcement."

Hemet police have been targeted at least three times. In one case, a ballistic device strapped to a fence at the gang unit compound sent a bullet within inches of an officer's face.

In 1960, my mother told me that she wanted to retire in Hemet. She’s now retired—in Fullerton, about 60 miles to the west.

no love for rightwing extremists, esp. the Nazis, neo-Nazis or other anti-semitic, anti-black, anti (legal) immigrant groups

too bad all those groups are typically leftist/socialists...

Well you know , its interesting that you mention that.

There is enough FEMA CAmp capacity to incarcerate a few million altogether. They would have to incarcerate about 3.5 million to break the patriot resistance to a totalitarian society.

The Southern California homes of dozens of white supremacists

There was no evidence provided that these were white supremacists that were arrested. More MSM hoopla trying to create a polarized nation.

“They would have to incarcerate about 3.5 million to break the patriot resistance to a totalitarian society.”

And what about the other 87 million gun owners?

What about the rest of the 240 million?

What happened to them locking up 80% of the U.S.?

In other words...is it dawning on you yet that such a thing would be impossible?

“Hemet police arrest 23 people for recent attacks”

Tuesday, April 20th, 2010.
Issue 16, Volume 14.

SNIPPET: “HEMET - Hemet police arrested 23 people today while serving search warrants in at least 35 locations countywide as part of an investigation into recent attacks on police and city facilities.

About 200 law enforcement personnel from federal, state, county and city agencies took part in today’s raid, which also yielded 16 firearms, along with other evidence and contraband, Hemet police Capt. Dave Brown said.

As of this afternoon, no charges have been filed in connection with the ongoing investigation into a series of attacks on city and police facilities.

The operation came about a week after the Hemet City Council gave the city manager emergency purchasing power to outfit police with whatever equipment, resources and personnel were deemed necessary to combat the attacks that have put police on the defensive.”

I found a booby trap. Call them cops. I'm all for arresting the culprits but there is something wrong when you pick up some "White Supremacists" say they are not responsible for the a crime which you are linking them to and hoping that their arrest will lead to the arrest of the criminals who set the traps? It has the same smell as the recent "christian" militia raid saying they planned to kill police officers. There just seems to be a pattern that doesn't fit and seems awful convenient.

Well lets see. 6 million jews were killed by Hitler. That was supposed to be inpossible too but it happened, and now the technology to do that kind of thing is much more advanced.

Of course 6 million gone in the holocaust was probably a lie, just a fabrication, not possible.

You have no idea whats possible. You wouldn't know it if it jumped up from the good earth and bit you in the a$$.

Pilot, passenger in plane loaded with cocaine sentenced for drug trafficking

WICHITA, Kan. - The pilot and a passenger of an airplane carrying more than 114 pounds of cocaine when it landed at a Kansas airport were sentenced Monday in federal court for drug trafficking. The sentence resulted from an investigation conducted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

The pilot, Dean Bryan Moya, 40, of Hemet, Calif., was sentenced to 60 months in federal prison. The passenger, Richard Allen Vickery, 31, of Hemet, Calif., was sentenced to 72 months. Both men pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting the distribution of cocaine.

According to court documents, Moya was piloting a Cessna 210 aircraft that landed on Oct. 22 at the airport in Liberal, Kan. Moya had picked up Vickery and the cocaine in California and was taking the drugs to Ohio for distribution. In his plea, Vickery admitted he was on board to shepherd the cocaine to Ohio for distribution.

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Air Marine Operations Center (AMOC) had tracked the aircraft as it flew from northern New Mexico. AMOC notified the Liberal Police Department that Moya was piloting the aircraft even though his medical certificate had been revoked due to drug use. At the airport a specially trained dog alerted investigators to the presence of narcotics. Investigators executed a search warrant and discovered more than 100 pounds of cocaine in two large suitcases inside the plane. Moya and Vickery were subsequently arrested at the Liberal Inn Motel in Liberal, Kan.

The following agencies assisted ICE in the investigation: the Liberal Police Department, the Beaver County Sheriff’s Department, the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, and the Seward County Sheriff’s Department.

“Cocaine traffickers destroy lives and ruin communities,” said Gilbert Trill, assistant special agent in charge of the ICE Office of Investigations in Kansas City. “These prison sentences demonstrate that even the quiet communities in Kansas can be directly impacted by the illicit narcotics trade. ICE and our law enforcement partners are determined to bring down these criminal organizations that pose a threat to public safety.”

Seems like it might be time to put together a mighty big militia. These parasites feel they can pick people off at the fringes but what would be their reaction to a great big, bad-ass militia?

Police Chiefs testifying in Sacramento against the open-carry of unloaded guns in California: WTF? Everyone of these bastards should be stripped of their badges, fired, and sent home without a pension for actions against the Constitution and any oath they swore to uphold.

I have no sympathy for racial supremacists of any kind, but I have to ask: Are these "white supremacists" so supreme that they feel that, for example, white illegal aliens shouldn't have to follow the laws of the land and deserve special treatment? Are they so supreme that they would ask the President to block a state law, in Arizona for example, that cracked down on their illegal white brothers?

Are they THAT supreme?

“23 Arrested in Booby-Trap Attacks on Hemet Police”
KTLA News
10:14 PM PDT, April 20, 2010

HEMET —

SNIPPET: “Capt. Brown said some of the 23 people arrested have gang affiliations, but he declined to say whether they were involved with street gangs, prison gangs, motorcycle gangs or white supremacist gangs.

A law enforcement source familiar with the investigation said task force members believe the attacks — including a series of booby trapping incidents and torching of city vehicles — appear to have been perpetrated by a white supremacist gang.

Last month, authorities arrested 33 members of the Vagos motorcycle gang, which Riverside County District Attorney Rod Pacheco called “an extreme threat to law enforcement.” But an attorney for Vagos and some of its members said Tuesday that none of the people arrested in the raids were members of the Vagos motorcycle gang.”

SNIPPET: “Police are also offering a $200,000 reward for information leading to an arrest or conviction in these attacks.

You can call the Hemet Police Department tip line at (951) 765-3897.”
