Are you by chance aware that the U.S. Military has been ordered to change their training regiment for basic training? Soldiers will be allowed to have and use cell phones during basic training. The physical requirements have become extremely laxed. Drill instructors are no longer allowed to break down the recruits in order to build team cohesion. There are some other changes that I cannot recall. I’ll have to ask my son to refresh my memory.

No blind obendence there, they obey but are NOT BLIND to fools such as Obama. I sense no love lost in regards to him.

Thats Shocking.....since Savage usually rips Glenn......he used to rip Sarah Palin badly but recently he had cordial things to say about her especially when she went after Obama over the Nuclear issue

No, first I’ve heard of this - thanks for that (and for your son’s service).

I sense the same thing but what will happen come crunch time, if there is a crunch time? Think of Lee resigning his commission to go back to Virginia - not everyone would have done that, IMHO.

Seems that our military is being “dumbed” down. Thank you for your kind words regarding my son.

Please, I don’t think they’ll be able to hold it together that long. They are already starting to go after each other.

Remember, video cameras all the time, it would be a good idea to start now, carrying them everywhere you go.

They have already started acting out to a certain degree, just remember - we actually love our country - we’ll win.

I think gays are really going to start up against Obama - you know they are already protesting - he’s going to try to push them aside again and it is going to cause a lot of problems for him in the near future.

I guess if we wanted to pour a little gas on that fire and stand by roasting our marshmellows, that could help us too.

Obama’s arrogance will be his undoing.

Remember gun sales have gone up through the roof. If there is any trouble, with many having packed heat, expect any violence not last.

The last five words of that sentence are not understandable...at least to the OldPossum.

The other week I heard Savage have a moment of clarity and thank God for folks on the air like Rush, Sean, Beck, Levin, etc. and he made the point about being in the same boat as them in the grand scheme of things. It was nice to hear because he seldom has nice things to say about them.

Seems that our military is being “dumbed” down.

I think that is not the best term. The men and women in our Armed Forces are much more 'intelligent and educated' than their forefathers. The technology we use requires nothing less.

What is happening is a loss of discipline. In a military situation, loss of discipline leads to loss of life.

Calling BS on this move by Savage. He would much rather dance on the graves of the people over FNC.

I don’t think so...I think they are up to something too, IMO they made their plans known by going after the Tea Party folks this past week. It won’t work, American people are on to them.

Savage is frequently critical of his competitors (rightfully or not) for “borrowing” his material and for their command of the issues; however, he’s always come their defense against personal attacks. I remember him tearing into a number of people who attacked Rush when Rush was rehab, and whether or not his competitors like him personally, I think it’s shameful that so few sprung to his defense when he was banned by the UK...especially as evidence emerged that his inclusion on the UK list may have been prompted by members of the Obama administration.

Savage is critical of his competitors because, quite frankly, they are not really conservatives...listen to their programs and note what they say.

Actually, Savage initially believed that people in the Bush Admin are also involved in his UK banning...since the ban was being proposed before Obama took office. Of course, the Kenyan Muslim is not going to help Savage.

It is disappointing that few have come to the defense of Savage for being banned in the UK....of course, MSFoxNews is now pro-Islamic Terrorist....and those talkers who want face time on MSFoxNews better not talk honest about Islam (or mention Obama’s Birth Cert. either)

Also, since Savage is not a Liberal Free Trader One-World Government Globalist....he does not get support from the faux-cons

Savage defending Beck just proves, contrary to what some liberal faux-cons claim....that Savage has more character than his counterparts in talk radio

Michael Savage’s consistent focus on the shortcomings of his competitors is unfortunate. If he left that subject alone, the rest of his message would be easier to hear.

On the other hand, the constant needling of his competitors may be a way of challenging them to come out of their comfort zone?

Either way, I love the man. And I pray for him.

King Sr., my understanding is that he was a big supporter of Nixon until his son was arrested — then he called the Kennedys, (Jack and Bobby), promised he’d swing voters their way if they would help Martin, Jr. King Sr. responsible for turning support toward the Dems from that point. At least, this is how I heard the story goes.

I agree. Savage has the guts to say truth and lets the chips fall where they may. I notice the medias deal with him by ignoring what he says. He is so close to truth on
most every outlandish thing he says, that they are afraid to open a real can of worms in denouncing him. MO

God help us in our day, in the precious name of Jesus, amen.
