As a former Scout, a dad to a Life Scout working towards Eagle and a current Scout Leader in CA, I don’t want anything from the CA legislature, especially their “congratulations”.
I don’t need, nor do I want or seek their affirmation of anything related to Scouting. I do it because I know how important it is and because I believe in it.

I refuse to let them change my vocabulary. Therefore they remain LIBERALS to me. I know it may sound nitpicky but this is exactly how they effected a 40-year coup of our country: one little baby step at a time.
They do not descriminate against anyone....but they DO uphold their own personal and Supreme Court approved private organizational beliefs. Get over it.

Wrong again. They do not teach hate, their teachings do promote integrity, respect honor and obedience which are clearly defined in their publications. Read and learn and get over it.

Any pain felt by individuals is the result of their own personal and private beliefs, which they are entitled to, just as the Boy Scouts of America are. The Boy Scouts of America are deeple committed to their values and welcome those who are willing to do the same. Those who have differnt values and principles are free to pursue their own personal lifestyles and beliefs in whatsoever manner it pleases them. So...PAH-LEEZE get--over--it!

Indeed it is. I only got to spend 5 years as a Scout but enjoyed it just the same.
