If the war against Islamic extremism were left to Comedy Central, it would have been lost by now. The network's decision to censor last week's episode of "South Park" depicting Muhammad was an act of unilateral surrender in the face of violent jihadist threats....
Comedy Central was not taking a principled stand against blasphemy because the episode showed Buddha snorting cocaine and - most outrageously - Jesus downloading Internet porn. "South Park" is an equal-opportunity slayer of sacred cows, both sectarian and secular, but the network is sending a message that it plays favorites to jihadists because they are the only ones who threaten violence.

Another example of what I hate about liberals - a bunch of coffee-house bs artists with pretensions of grand artistic and social insight, but in reality only criticizing those who have actually DONE something to make the world better and surrendering when there is a real fight or a real example of somebody snuffing out the light of objective (or satirical) criticism with the basest of arguments: the threat of physical violence.

We’re about to see a “takeover” of the U.S. by the evil and oppressive idealogy of the government of Islam (that is aiming for world-wide conquest and has stated that the U.S. is *on its list* to take over...)

There’s no question about it... the enemy is *Islam* itself and the evil and oppressive and false idealogy that it perpetrates. Some say the problem is “fascism” (instead of the basic oppressive governmental idealogy of Islam, itself). But, that is to engage in “political correctness” and nothing more... and sidetracks people from the *true enemy* in this war.

The program didn’t air as produced. Comedy Central edited the “offending” parts for broadcast, which to my knowledge has not been done to South Park before.

OK, let’s see here—we can excoriate Christians, Christianity, and Christ Himself, in a nation founded on Christian principles and have no fear of any kind of retribution. But even HINT at showing Muhammed in ANY negative light, and it is IMMEDIATELY censored.
