The public official denies any such conversation. In addition, Rezko has stated to the government that he and the public official had certain conversations about gaming legislation and administration, which the public official denies having had. Cash could mean a number of violations. Endless. Is there something to corroborate the story other than the two in a room with cash?
Easier is lying to the F.B.I. If Obama said he wasn’t directly involved and they have the union official saying he spoke with Obama PLUS we see already they have phone records.
That is the enough to appoint a Special Prosecutor.

there's a wild card in this mix: Even many dems in DC are very upset and concerned about the damage "O" has done re: Israel - and what may come of his anti-Israel stance.
They have signed and sent him a letter urging him to back off of Israel...but I think they can see where his sympathies lie - and that he is not one to be reasoned with. (Narcissists are RIGHT and that is that.)
They may be beginning to believe they have someone in charge who may even take THEM down...they may not stand behind him if he is indeed in trouble with this.
Actually, the Rezko information was obtained over a year ago - and they have been sitting on it...It may be that people of his own party in DC are pulling the plug -
wonder also is Twinkle Toes RAhm's announcement yesterday that he really wants to be Mayor of Chicago figures in? I'm sure he could give lets of info that would not be good for the 'O' man...wheels within wheels, deals under and over deals.
Whatever goes down, we will probably never know who made what deals for what gains. But it is the nature of the rat to turn on one another if the water looks rough.
God will not let this country be taken apart. This I believe.
