Unfortunately, our Pastor is just following the Bishop. The Catholic Bishops seem to be following the premise that since the Holy Family escaped into Egypt 2000 years ago when Herod’s henchmen were trying to exterminate all Jewish babies, that we should provide refuge for everyone in the whole world who is trying to escape the subjugation of another country.
When they write this out, however, they are very careful to say LEGAL immigration. But, when talking off the cuff, sometimes their real agenda slips out. This is the first time this Pastor has been so blatent. We are both very irritated and we have found the perfect excuse to avoid the Bishop’s Stewardship Appeal.
We give to the homeless. We give to crisis pregnancies. We give to support our own parish, and that is all.
My Pastor has been talking about the evils of socialism lately and he also had some positive remarks about Arizona's new law.
So will the police in any Middle Eastern Country. We had a Lebanese friend when we lived in Washington State. His relatives in Lebanon bad mouthed America all the time (despite his many hand outs and gifts that he provided them). On one trip home, his cousins and uncles set upon him and started beating him up because he was living in the USA instead of being home fighting their war against Syria. After they had punched him for a while, they started complaining about all the imagined American affronts.
My friend brought his sister into the room and asked her to tell the others how they had travelled 1000 miles in the USA, through several states, without ever being stopped and asked for ID. She assured the others that it was true, and they were amazed. They were being stopped by militia when moving from one neighborhood to another.
They all would come here to visit and to seek medical care, BTW.

For the majorty, Justice Clarence Thomas wrote, “Are you effing KIDDING ME???!? What are you, PURE MORONS or WHAT???!?”
Justice Robert Stevens, in rebuttal, wrote, “It is a sad day in America when criminals are unable to ply their honest professions. The prejudice of this law is stunning: Those who have different lifestyles than some of the rest of us, will be THROWN IN JAIL for absolutely no reason. This is the very definition of a Fascist police state. Clarence Thomas is Hitler.”
Reaction on the street is mixed, with those who are presently robbing us, opposed to the new law. Those who are being robbed, raped and murdered are 95% in favor of the new law.

Illegal aliens constitute over 25% of the federal prison population. Think about that for a moment. This means that a group which comprises less than 5% of the population is committing 25% percent of the crime.
Approximately 400,000 illegal aliens who have committed crimes and have been given a deportation order are at large in the U.S. and their whereabouts unknown.
