Hope you didn’t get the winds we had today; cold front here w/ 2-3” of snow at 2000’ tonight. We’re much higher then that...the cold is com’n your way.

I heard about the cold coming this way but the wind wasn’t bad here today. We did have that damn Oregon Mist this afternoon (mist Oregon and drizzled on Eureka)...

Been looking at Darlington trying to get a feel for the race. I think I read where there will be no more “Darlington Stripe” as the wall on that turn is now of SAFER material.
In the squeaky wheel gets the grease department (also known as my scripture day as I’ll be praying and reciting scripture a lot) I gotta change 2 light blubs today for the MIL and then don the wetsuit to find and repair the leak in her pond. This will be after repairing 5 other things in the “oh, I forgot to tell you this broke” once I walk in the door. Don’t know why but one of their favorite things to break is the heavy duty adjustable hinge on a lower cabinet in the kitchen....five of em snapped right off but “we don’t know how it happened”. The Lord is Compassionate and Gracious, slow to anger and abounding in Love....
The “safer” wall takes about two feet off the tack, more stripes!

I’m out here in Paradise planting tators to feed the world and all you two have to worry about is the Darlington Stripe? I really do appreciate your continued support of me now that I am reduced to running in the Consolation League but did y’all notice our fearless league leader moved up 7 spots last Saturday?

Three lights changed, leak diagnosed, bird feeder repaired, clean-up done and ice-melt spread for the snow forecast for tonight. My lettuce is 1/16th of an inch high and won’t grow much with a high of 40 forecast for tomorrows weather.
I’m practicing a little zen-Nascar and trying to become one with the (Darlington) track and feel the postive energy flow into car numbers. Ummmm33mmmmmm18mmmm29mmm24mmmm. Or, you can be like G.R. and forget to change your drivers.

Good luck with them taters. haven’t planted a garden in years, but the last time we planted taters, we put more in the ground than we got out.
When potato guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have potato guns.
Looking forward to Darlington. Got a rough idea for drivers (my wife says it doesn’t matter, I’ll change them anyway) weather looks OK, so far, and Saturday night is the right time and Darlington is the right place. Hoping for one heck of a race.
Since half of my team took last week off, I decided to leave most of them as they were.
